Man I'm incredibly surprised by how well it ties into the melody for the most part. You can really feel sonic's "bust the hell outta here" spirit in a way that still feels like he's working with the song, maybe much like how sonic will always defy the level design intended for him to some extent. Likely overthinking things, but enjoyed this much more than i expected to.

This made me think that for a future title they should definitely try this type of EDM composition with a mixture of digital and acoustic instruments. I feel like 2-4 Hype Street, 3-7 All Reality and I'm With You did this the best out of this OST, even if the ladder isn't a Cyberspace track. They also did it with Forces sorta, but the gritty main lead was always stealing the show, rarely giving other lead instruments a shot. Most of the music also felt more anime opening, J-rock like instead of EDM like with the Cyberspace songs. Still, great job with the solo. Brings me back to the Unleashed and the storybook games era, I say as a person who didn't play those games, lol.

Love the guitar adds a missing layer of emotion to these tracks. That sensation you get running through a sonic stage feels complete now, definitely gonna mod this one onto the game (no release unless you'd allow it).👍

Love the incorporation of Kronos mvt 2 and I felt a little bit of wave ocean in there at one point. Sonic music is what inspired me to start playing guitar when I was 6 years old.

Why is this so good... the first couple of seconds of the guitar sound like the piano in Kronos island theme 4th movement (could be 5th idk) I didn't know that you could play the guitar

Woah! This is remarkably good. It takes this track from a 6 (good but not incredible) to an 8 (would play on repeat) in my rating. This really confirms my opinion that a lot of the Cyber Space tracks are full of neat musical concepts that fall just short of being as fully developed as they ought to be. Adding something like this guitar solo to the 2nd half of the track makes it finally feel complete. I'd love to hear this kind of thing done for other tracks as well: not necessarily guitar solos for all of them, but just some sort of additional melodic layer to break up the repetition. Do you have an isolated track of the guitar by itself? I was trying to splice this into a complete version of the track (with the backing track made a bit louder), but I'm running into audio phasing issues no matter how I try to line up the tracks.

The first part is the type of energy I’ve been missing in Sonic stages the first 3 Titan bosses had great music but I felt a lot of the Cuberspace levels were missing something. If this game had original stages as long as Heroes or at least Unleashed there’d be more space for music like this
