When I did the Cyberspace levels, I would take my time going through the first time before doing objectives so I could enjoy hearing the music. They objectively still have a lot to be desired, but my God, the music.

Honestly, OG Mach Speed (with midair control of course) seems like a blast-and I may prefer some of its elements. The idea was there and I can feel the aura it’s meant to give; it’s just not forgiving, ya know? New Mach Speed is capitalizing on that brilliantly; though, I agree it’s a bit too forgiving. I would like to see Mach Speed officially return someday; because, full speed ahead without crashing is the kinda thrill I want from a video game.

finished the game and finally let myself watch this, i haven’t laughed this much at a video in a while. genuinely felt a bit teary eyed. the amount of times i also smiled when you brought up complaints about things that were then later added into final horizons was so funny it was like an omen 😭

TBH... Sonic Origins came out in the worst time possible.. The fans made decomps of all the classic games while waiting. And now all classic games are playable with wide screen. Heck we even got remasters like Sonic 1 Forever. And Sonic 2 Absolute. And Sonic AIR and all of them support mods and what not.... So I honestly think Sonic Origins Is basically Useless. Considering the time it came out in. And it doesn't help how its more expensive. The same thing could he said about sega's netflix Sonic Mania Mobile Port. A whole year before that port. The Fans decomped Sonic Mania. Making it available on nearly everything. Even the 3DS. I would simply never understand how sega works on crap.
