can you show how the setup steps to make a measurement or shot a distances at a prism in a horizontal distances and continues foward shots..

good comment but this device is digital Theodolite only with no laser distance meter. so what you asking for can be done with the total station device which i showed in the following video link kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qc6XlKiTtsjIcX0.html hope it will help

A quick question, if you know the answer... I have a theodolite with a laser plummet. However, the tripod has a plumb bob hook inside the tripod screw. This works well for when I attach a plumb bob. However, this interferes with the laser dot which become quite blurry and poorly defined. What do people do in this situation?

Yes we have the same issue, all you need to do is tilt the hook to the side by rotating it a bit and the laser becomes clear

I'm a survey studient in at Bulawayo polytechnic in Zimbabwe we are in need of these please help with just 5 technology is advancing but we are stuck with old ways using tapes please please help just 5 will make a huge difference so that we go to our attachment with a bit of knowledge of how these work
