So you can leave this at home an come back an still have the audio on your phone?

If you leave the recorder at home on and you stop it when you get back home you should be able to sync it with your phone and the app.

Hello I want to use this device in my husband car to record him talking to another woman so I will be at home he will be driving can this device do what I need without my phone being next to it ?

You could turn it on and when he gets back turn it off and then access the file.
