Such a well explained video. Far from others who tell you what to do without explaining anything. Beautiful work, thank you! 👍 I see that you're not making videos anymore. That's a bummer because I'd have loved to know more about the C152 things you haven't talked about in this one.

I think the way to remove that post flight logbook screen, is under options - assistance options - user experience - "end flight when aircraft shuts down" option. Turn that off. Thanks for the great videos! Very helpful!

Thank you for a really useful and informative video. When finishing your downwind approach, then right turn to base and to final you are adjusting throttle and yoke and mention adjusting the trim several times, but don't say if you are trimming the nose up or down. Enjoyed the video very much, thanks.

This video and your other Europe Tour Videos are very well made and interesting to watch and try to copy! But I would like you to share what the sim setup is that you use. Like What controls do you use-KB?Mouse?Joystick?Rudder?Full cockpit hardware?... What do you use to pan the view&display-again KB?Mouse?External View?Drone view? What do you use to record the videos? This is needed for me to try and fly the C152 myself, and record and replay. Thanks, keep up the great show. Ananth

That whole having to adjust the mixture thing seems so primitive! An ECU could easily do that for the pilot, but these old design planes don't have ECUs. At least with a turbocharged plane, it isn't necessary.

I am a n00b and MSFS tutorial just skims over the trim in passing. Also, with keyboard controls I find it yanks the yoke just with a single press of a either right-left-up-down key. I wish there was a way to reduce its sensitivity

Thanks for the video.. i am having a similar behavior where the plane tends to roll to the left slightly..is this due to the P-factor ? i noticed you keep correcting with aileron.. i tested this also at high altitude..killed the motor, the left roll stoped but the plane started to roll a bit to the right...
@digitalaviator5088
@digitalaviator5088 3 жыл бұрын
That is P factor among other factors called left turning tendencies
@oneicarus
@oneicarus Жыл бұрын
beyond P-factor, which is significant at high angle of attack, single propeller planes have their propeller turning in one direction and, following Newton's 1st and 3rd law, that means the rest of the plane will rotate in the opposite direction to maintain the same angular momentum in the whole plane-propeller system. This is why double or quad propeller planes have their propellers spinning in opposite directions to one another: to compensate their momentums and not have this affect the fusselage of the plane.
