I must be missing something.... I thought I followed this video, step-by-step.... turned on all the features noted on both Mac and Pc, yet... windows explorer only shows my 2 pc's in the 'network' setting ... my Mac computer is not shown.....going to go through it again, but not sure this will work. I have a basic 'home network'....

exFAT works well for USB drives or external hard drives/SSDs

Usb tip: Exfat or install NTFS for Mac and never think about it again.

there is no general in the menu after clicking system settings

I've been at this for days why is it asking me for my password when both my Macbook and windows system have the same 4-digit password ( example 0011) and when entered it is incorrect I've followed it to the letter and cannot fathom why something everybody else can apparently do first time to me with an over average understanding of windows and network configs does not complete this relatively simple task
