Jog Wheels I use. From DJ Controller its Vestax VCI - 380 (Capacitive Jog Wheels) that's what I am using but I ain't going lie. Motorised wheels also the Rane Twelve same way I love it and the way you can feel the vinyl with. I hope to get a pair of them one day so I can get the style of the feeling of vinyl that's just me. Just for Clarity. On DenonDJ kit, the capacitive jog wheels are each individually configurable for sensitivity. And they are multi touch too. So one finger wont stop the track, but using 2 fingers will stop the track. This is really useful since not everyone has the same resistive conductivity in their hands. So you can set it up perfectly just for you.

Motorized ones are my favourite. It was the reason I got the SLDZ1200s.

Marc Santaromana im right there with you i started with TT then moved onto denon Mc7000 but got real bored real fast LOL i just got me some Numark V7's from a fellow DJ and it feels so good to be back on spinning platters.. it just feels nature.. ive spun on TT all my life lol

I prefer mechanical jogwheels all day. I always loved the feel of CDJs in the club, but I couldn't afford a CDJ set up. I used the Pioneer DDJ-SR for six years, and it has mechanical jogwheels. I recently upgraded to the DDJ-1000, and it has mechanical jog wheels. I'm never going back to capacative again.

Touch capacity am not a fan, especially when scratching too loose unless you reduce the resistance in the software!! I would say Mechanical for me!

i just picked up the NS7iii, coming from a Numark NV, and you are right the pitch bending on the motorized platter is throwing me off... any suggestions ?? am i supposed to nudge the vinyl, or nudge the platters ? what other advice can you give ? thanks bud..

What about Traktor S4 mk 3 jog wheels...

You forgot motorized jog wheels with haptic/force/vibration feedback, like the Traktor S4 mk3, that actually allows you to feel cue points.

I use a 24 inch touch screen, so I guess it is similar to capacitive... no moving platter, though.

Even though both Roland and Pioneer controllers use Capacitive jogwheels, They are worlds different. Even between a Roland 505 and 808 are completely different feels. I wish Roland would have adopted the same jogwheels on the Pionerr SR/SX/SZ.

For those of you having problems with your capacitive jogwheels being too sensitive, you can adjust the sensitivity in the hardware settings of your controller. (check your user manual) Shamefully that wasn't addressed here in the video!!! Thumbed down the video because of that.

Definitely accurate I’ve hit my capacitive DDJSR2 wheel 1000 times and fucked up I’m also super lucky cuz I have a track skip so if u even breath on it your song is gonna land somewhere else 😂

yo Marc I have 2 numark v7s I would like to use. Can you recommend what would be a good choice for software. I tried a sample of VDJ and it got them to work kind-of. The performance was jumpy and although it was just a sample I was not impressed please help I have been unable to use these and want to know if it's worth it.
