I would not say that, I was born and raised in Italy and I suspect that even italians don't eat real italian food anymore. Let me be clear...most of the best italian dishes are quite elaborate and are based on some local ingredients that can be very hard to find outside their original region. So even if I grew up thinking I knew everything about italian food I come to understand that if you want to taste the "real" pizza you must eat one in Naples, if you want to taste a delicious "pesto" you must eat it in Liguria, "pasta con le sarde" in Palermo, "ragú e tortellini" in Bologna and so on. Nowadays even italians don't have time to cook as required by our tradition...so...yeah... McDonald's for everybody.

I think it's important to say that the Koreanized versions of things aren't necessarily "wrong". But the reason that we Italians get so up in arms about our cuisine is exactly because of the reactions in this video. When you have the real, authentic version, it's often better than the adulterated version; there's a reason many of these recipes haven't changed for decades or centuries. But if you like your carbonara with cream, you can make and eat it that way if you like it better. As long as you're at least aware of the original way.
@booboobunny56556 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Though some other versions of Italian food taste ok-ish, but I still prefer the Authentic Italian flavor when I go to get Italian food. I love the taste!

@ROArecords24 жыл бұрын
@@albertocassinelli1218 No, it's rare to find a place that is as good. Some places exist that are owned by Italians, have Italian chefs and import their ingredients, but over time that becomes increasingly difficult to maintain. Also, contrary to belief, New York City does not have the best Italian food in the U.S.

Polpette is like a meatball that is served throughout Italy. It's ground beef or veil and often fried and eaten by itself, but in the southern parts of Italy its often in a tomato sauce like in the states, but is served as it's own dish and not with any pasta.

Koreans traditionally have such a limited palette for food. For some reason, they just don't seem to like any food other than Korean food.
