On this outdoor metal detecting adventure we go metal detecting in a graveyard. But, before jumping to conclusions you need to watch the video to find out why! Next, we do some door knocking and hunt a few old yard permissions before heading back to a church permission that we metal detected at a few videos back. First non-clad thing I found was a 14k gold wedding band that belonged to a member of a nearby church. Really great feeling when you can help someone with this hobby!

Take the large cent (if you are out of ideas to get the date to come through) put it your edc change and as it rubs around it brings details back MOST of the time. It's worked for me and I got the idea from good ol KZfaq.

My first gold ring was my wife's engagement ring. I was not looking for it and had forgotten she had lost it. She lost it when we were building our home. I was next to the house detecting getting use to my detector. I got a tone I hadn't heard before. I dug it and it was her ring. We built the house in 1992 and found the ring in 2020. I started detecting in 2020 because of COVID. It was something I could do and stay away from people. I'm 75 and retired.

I wish you could add more info on the date and mintmark on all your wheat cents, maybe do a bundled wrap up on them at the end. I know you're pressed for time on the edit but I think the wheats are important enough in your finds.

You had me very concerned when I read the title as we all should know the graveyards/cemeteries are frowned upon. Great ring recovery and helping her out. I hate detecting in cemeteries even when hired by archeologists and historians.

Very rarely, we mostly listen for smaller repeatable targets. Occasionally it'll be something big and super deep and we'll give up on it.

How do people feel about leaving those coins for their loved ones and dead and then someone coming around and finding them and taking them from the graves do you feel bad about that or should you feel bad about that or is it right to do I thought of it but just never done it

Take it you didn't watch the video did you? A lady lost her gold college ring when pulling up weeds around a family members grave, she contacted us immediately and it was located on surface and returned to her. Not one coin or any other item was dug there :)
