A song without lyrics is called a "vocalise", and nobody does it better than Dimash, the greatest vocalist I have ever heard in my 80+ years on this planet.

It's dimash song,not cover. I am sure no one can sing this song like Dimash, Vocally and technically it's is extremely difficult song, first of all his angelic classical head voice is incomparable, then the breath control is out of this world, his dinamic control is insane, there is no words and what he did is unreal, F6 in head voice is challenge for any soprano and he sang it's effortlessly, and the last part is really unbelievable, first of all 6th octave onset is extremely hard to do without loosing control, C6 with 15 second with decrescendo & duminuendo and of course phenomenal vibrato.i looked earlier to see if anyone had ever sung the Massa di Voche like that and only found one soprano who could do it. Many people know this technique, but to do it in such a high register is unimaginable and nowadays I'm sure only a few can do it.( Probably only world class sopranos, Even them will have really hard time) As for the song as a whole, his years of hard work are clearly visible, because what he did vocally requires incredible skills and technique. His head voice is a phenomenon because there is no male singer who has or had such a head voice, he sounds exactly like a soprano and moreover in the high register his head voice is much richer and stronger than most sopranos.

He did start his rise to fame with a mostly Asian following, but since 2017 when he first became known on a Chinese competition show his fan base has exploded across the globe. Like you, I don't like concerts (I am agoraphobic). But for him, I was able to overcome my fear. And it is a life experience. Even there are obviously artists more famous in the world, not a lot of them are able to attract so many people from everywhere around the world... He also has fan clubs in many countries, working for free for making his work better known (the USA fanclub is very active for example). He is not as famous as we could expect in Western countries because he does not want to sign with a major music company: he has his own creative center and wants to be free. Additionally, his music is not mainstream and some pieces are not for a daily listening (like his latest incredible masterpiece "The Story of One Sky": this is his own opinion). I think that what matters for him is his message: he wants to transcend boundaries, cultures and religions and his voice is his instrument. More than celebrity, he wants share and widespread his values. This is why he is so unique, beyond his inhuman talent. And this is also probably why his fans are so strongly and viscerally attached to him, because he is so more than an insane vocalist: he is a very deep soul, a sage (his interviews show a broad culture and deep comprehension of philosophy, very surprising for a young man like him).
