Seems I am a little late getting to the party, but as is said, "better late than never".The program in China was called Classic Wings, it tries to spread Chinese classical literature through music. Famous Chinese interpreters were invited to the program, Dimash was a special guest who without speaking the language, naturally, sang in Mandarin and his interpretation had the sensitivity of a native Mandarin speaker. The poem that Dimash selected is 1,300 years old, it was written during the Tang Dynasty. The poem was adapted to a song and Dimash incorporated into the musical composition the Dombra (ancestral instrument of the people of Kazakhstan) the girl dressed in traditional dress, plays the Dombra. A masterful and sublime presentation. The panel of experts told Dimash that his pronunciation was incredible, and that he had interpreted it dramatically considering the essence of the poem.
