Dimash presented this song "Fly away" here, at the International Competition of Young Performers "New Wave-2021" in Sochi, Russia. Great reaction-and bravo for adding subtitles in Russian (?). So many comments for Dimash’s videos and reactions are written in Cyrillic, it’s good you go to the trouble of helping his fans understand what you have to say. I agree that Michael Jackson is a clear influence on Dimash when he does more contemporary/pop style music. He’s picked up some of the poses and a few of the easier moves. I wonder if he’s taking dance lessons. He works so hard at his singing, and from what I can see he’s probably a perfectionist, so if he is learning to dance he probably won’t show it until he’s ready to blow us away. That would be cool. Then again some singers can’t really dance. Freddie Mercury had some fabulous moves onstage, but when he agreed to perform a song with the Royal Ballet he couldn’t follow the choreography at all-so they basically just lifted him up and threw him around. LOL. Hope it doesn’t come to that with Dimash.
