Daybreak...touching story :) Song was writen ang singing for first time by Han Hong ,one of the famous Chinese singer and songwriter. She wrote that is based on a true story, which moved her considerably. At the moment that the cable car fell and crashed, the father tried his best to hold his son high. The two-year-old kid survived, while her parents both died. Deeply touched by the story, Han also adopted the kid. She said she feels empathy with the boy, more than others, since she herself lost her father at the age of six.

It's nice when you can listen to a performance by one of the best in the world. And not have it interrupted every 5 seconds or somebody has to just start talking and thinking that they know everything, I congratulate you for listening to the entire performance without interruption that is the way it should be done. When you listen to the entire performance at the end of it we will be eagerly waiting to hear what you have to say to hear your thoughts., At least by listening without interruption you will know what you are talking about good job. Just a few words of wisdom, do with them as you please.

I would advise going and researching the story behind this sad song. It is beautiful on it's own but when you know the story behind it, it becomes so much more powerful. It brings me to tears every time. Learn the story, then watch that performance again. It will take on so much more meaning for you.

It's difficult to picture Dimash and Mariah on the same stage, not because of the voice difference, but because they have a different artistic attitude; Mariah used to be a diva (less and less nowadays) and she more often than not behaved like one. Dimash on the other hand, is a different breed; he IS a humble man, which means implicitly that a diva is not his cup of tea. I believe this difference would set the two apart right off the bat. I see no middle ground.

The child was safely lifted to rescue workers by his parents before the cable car fell. Both parents were killed, and the boy was orphaned. The writer of this song Han Hong adopted the boy from the accident. As far as Dimash being single, from what he says he probably is, but he keeps his private life very closed, so who knows. The back story about the song and the problem Dimash had the day he was to perform it on Singer 2017 is on the channel Gloria Wu. It also has the performance with subtitles during the show but it has 1 glitch in the video. This performance was him after his problem went away. PLEASE at least watch the back story and have tissues ready because I guarantee you will cry. Every time I hear Dimash sing this song I can't stop crying.
