When he sang "The Show Must Go On" on Singer in 2017 as a contestant he only knew a couple English phrases. This was from Singer 2018, he was invited back as a guest singer for this show, and had been studying English. He now speaks English very well, but still has his Kazakh accent. Most Dears hope he never looses it completely. We call his English Dinglish. :) The one who did the arrangement for this was Erlan Beckchuran, if I remember correctly, and Erlan still does Dimash's arrangements. At the end of the song he says I love you in Mandarin, I love you in Kazakh, then Thank you very much in Mandarin.

This performance must be put into context. These people put Dimash on the international stage in 2017. Now they invited him back in 2018 to do this performance. This is Dimash's way to say "I Love You and Thank You" to all of the Dears that made it happen. This man is so humble - absolute RESPECT!!!

Dimash himself decides on the arrangement. He's got a friend, Erlan Bekchurin, who does the arrangement, but the idea is by Dimash, his love for music and musical education (at that time he finished his BA, since then he's completed MA, and now is doing Phd) guides him in that.

This performance was from 2018 a year after the competition and he was asked back as a guest performer. The Kazakh flute is called a Sybyzgy and Dimash says I love you in Mandarin and Kazakh at the end ❤ you should react to his new work from 2021 most are in English and he is so much better vocally, if you can possibly believe it.

Thank you, I enjoyed your reaction! Great insights. Dimash never copies, he makes his own interpretation, and an arrangement according to it, to convey his message. This arrangement was made by Dimash's music arranger and sound engineer Erlan Bechurin (Dimash was involved in the process ofc, as he himself decides how to sing the song). I love this unique rendition of that classic song. They changed pretty much everything:) The song was enriched by Dimash's own cultural heritage: the traditional flute like instrument sybyzgy, his Turkic melismas in the middle of the song, and a throat singing in the background. Quite original, wasn't it? :) :)

If you notice the lyrics I love you happened three times during the song the first is in English the second is in Chinese for his Chinese audience and the third is in his native Kazakh language. Но просмотрев эту реакцию ,у меня нет таких претензий к автору канала: настолько он проффесионален в знаниях вокальной техники и очень внимателен к деталям и нюансам исполнения . Started watching the Singer after discovering Dimash and have been introduced to many great artists.
