Unfortunately, in the USA, we have lost much of that respect for each other, which is very sad. As a part of the older generation I have great hope for the younger generation, and with role models like Dimash, maybe the pendulum will swing back to a more respectful and love for each other time. The more I hear Dimash's words the more I love him, in ways other than his voice. As always Gloria, that you for bringing his words, to us, in a language we can understand.

Actually, I think, there was implication of "catch" . When she was addressing girls in the audience, I think she implied what a "catch" will be Dimash if any of them marry him. Loved this interview. She's a wonderful hostess, great questions and I enjoyed her approach in talking to him and presenting him to the audience. She put him at ease and it was a very comfortable interview to watch and I noticed that Dimash was very relaxed as well. Loved her questions about his family and tradition in Kazakistan, something we were not knowledgeable with before. It was very interesting to know about the first son given to grandparents and now, I can see his closeness to his grandmother and the love they have for each other. Here in America, it's expected that grandparents are not part of the raising or disciplining of the grandchildren. In my opinion, being raised in a Japanese family, all adults were part in raising the children. It was all a village effort, bc it takes indeed a village to raise a good person. I loved to see how respectful he is of his family and how attached he is to them.

His speaking in Kazakh is like his singing : unique, wise, epic, full of metaphores, quotes. You know he also writes poems in Kazakh. Good Luck everybody in learning Kazakh!) My best regards.
