@@coffeereaction Probably because so many people require that music be sung in their own language in order to understand it. That is the sense I have gotten from so many friends and neighbors to whom I have tried to introduce Dimash but who do not understand him or his music simply because he isn't singing in a language with which they are familiar.

@@dougfriendly7676 With Dimash, I have learned to feel and understand music and its message in so many languages that I don't speak or otherwise understand. I have even begun to learn to sing along in Russian, Kazakh, and Chinese because of Dimash. He has done so much to erase our cultural and physical barriers, and bring us together as human beings. I feel sad for people who cannot absorb such beauty.

Thank you for reacting to this powerful song and video from Dimash. You really do deserve to have more subscribers, and I believe they will find you. You mentioned Tolkien, and I can tell you this: "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" both appear on Dimash's list of the his top five favourite books he likes to re-read in his spare time. Of LotR, Dimash says: "In “The Lord of the Rings” I would like to mention one of the strongest characters in my opinion - Aragorn. He is the living embodiment of human willpower. I have always admired his devotion to his country and his word. When, as a boy, I first read John Tolkien’s series, Aragorn for me became the very image of the hero I have always strived to be.” You also mentioned the film soundtrack in your comments for "Stranger". Howard Shore is a brilliant composer, and his Oscar Award was well-deserved for the soundtrack. I was privileged to be allowed to briefly hold his award on the night it was given to him, an unforgettable memory.

Sorry, I'm just getting to your channel but lights off for routine tree maintenance so just came on, phone had to be charged . Lol. But thank-you for this video, the song is such a strong message, Dimash reminds us that beauty is still around us. Children's laughter, birds singing but we as humans need to treat ALL citizens, humans/beautiful creatures of the world with respect, kindness & better understanding of all peoples history & beliefs. We are the caretakers of this blue marble & frankly, we seem unable to recognize this privilege & take our home planet for granted. That it'll always be renewed is far from the truth. We have been killing each other since time began & if we can't see that type of destruction, how will we ever see the severity of damage that has been done to this big beautiful world. We are the creator's children, please love & take care of what we have been blessed with b4 it's gone! Sorry, this performance brings the emotions & tears to the forefront. PLEASE, PLEASE FORGIVE ME! This is after all just a single person's opinion. Stay safe, healthy with laughter leading your path. Akita
