Well, as you said, so many fans claimed it was rigged that the following year, it was a non-Chinese foreigner who won (Jesse J from the UK). The show is not The Voice. It was called Singer and would invite well-established award-winning Chinese singers to compete. The 500 people in the audience each get to cast three votes. Dimash ranked first on this episode, and the percentage of votes that evening was the highest in the entire 14 weeks. He scored first three times: SOS; Opera 2; and Adagio. After conquering China, he went on to conquer Russia starting with Sinful Passion at the New Wave music festival where you will see a bald man in a white shirt giving him a standing ovation in the first row. That’s Igor Krutoy, the most successful composer and songwriter in Russia. After they met, they went on to partner in a number of hits, first reviving some of Igor’s old hits, then writing songs specifically for Dimash’s voice. (pronounced: Dee-mahsh Koo-deye-bear-ghen) Dimash Qudaibergen was born on May 24, 1994, in Aktobe, Kazakhstan into musical royalty. Height: 1.91m; 6' 3'. Grandfather played professional dombra, grandmother was a teacher and sings. His parents are Kanat Aitbayev and Svetlana Aitbayeva. Sveta studied classical singing, but she is not an opera singer. Both have long been known and loved by the people of Kazakhstan, are Honored Music Artists of Kazakhstan. Esa fue su primera presentación en esa competencia en China, Singer, y aunque parece increíble quedó segundo lugar, porque es una competencia en que por primera vez participaba alguien que no era chino, y solo un chino podía ganar. Y a ellos mismos los sorprendió el talento de Dimash, y fue tanto su éxito que se hizo mundialmente famoso desde ese día uno. La competencia dura tres meses, o poco más, y se presentaban todas las semanas. Y todas las presentaciones fueron en vivo e igual en el caso de cada uno de los participantes, que todos son cantantes ya profesionales. It’s a film credit score for an Italian sci-fi film but it’s one of his first original songs with a rock track in it. This song has a BIG payoff and what you’ll find in every song he does is it always hits you with something new. Also something out of nowhere hits you in every song. He’s a freak of nature. I’m a rock guy but Dimash is like seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time every time you hear him.
