Please do Dimash Stranger and Dimash Ave Maria. Now it is not the Ave Maria we are yse to hearing but one written just for Dimash and it is a vocalize, so no lyrics. He uses his voice for one of the most mesmerizing and beautiful performances ever. Stranger, also composed by Igor Krutoy is a theatrical masterpiece. When you get a little more use to Dimash.... do his MV, The Story of One Sky which Dimash composed. He also wrote the script, was one of the main actors and sang all of the different parts although it will seem like many people. It is about war and the need for peace and respect among all people and religions. It is intense and often hard to watch. Many people end up in tears but it is a message that should be heard.

Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 28-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He has his own company „DimashAli Creative Center“ and is managed by his father Kanat. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. But he also works very hard to improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. Oh yes, starting with his tribute to MJ is definitely a mistake. Singing MJ's songs means he has to stay within MJ's vocal range. You really need to hear one of his original songs to hear what he's truly capable of though. SOS has become Dimash's signature song and although other people have attempted it they don't come even close to doing it justice like he does.

Two songs by Dimash may truly leave you speechless: Ave Maria, and El Amor En Ti. He's extremely entertaining in almost everything he performs. We're always amazed or surprised! More favorites? Autumn Strong, and Daybreak (from Singer), Qaragym-ai (the piano version), The Meaning of Eternity (Grumpy Baby Bear channel or you won't know what it's about), and We Are One (in English, encouragement to us all during the lockdown).

Dude don't worry, Dimash only gets better from here. This song is usually the first song people react to. And its funny you mention MJ, Dimash is a huge fan of Michael Jackson, probably where he gets his performance theatrics from. I liked & subbed, I'll be looking forward to more Dimash reactions, as well as checking out some of your other content. The various French singers who have covered SOS sound very impressive, but would be far more so to me if I hadn't heard Dimash sing it first. They all sound like they're in falsetto on the high notes, while Dimash sounds alternately like a powerful soprano or a powerful clean metal or musical theater singer. I've never heard any other guy do it remotely like him! And as others have said in the comments, this performance is nowhere near his best, as hard to believe as that is! There are so many to choose from - others have suggested Stranger, Ave Maria, the Story of One Sky...I can wholeheartedly recommend any of those, they are beyond magnificent! I’m not a fan of the MJ tribute, so glad you watched this. I highly recommend “Sinful Passion”, “Stranger”, “Ave Maria” and “Ikanaide” for starters. Then check out “ Olimpico” on Igor Krutoy’s KZfaq channel (best version IMO). After digesting those, watch “The Story of One Sky” composed by Dimash. He also wrote the screenplay and acted in it (masterfully). It’s a 13 minute mini movie masterpiece (music video).

Dimash grew up idolising MJ and he continues to be a huge influence on Dimash, particularly in live concert performances. Watch Dimash’s incredible, epic performance of his own composition El Amor En Ti (composed for his Spanish Dears) at his Almaty concert in September last year - a mind blowing production with a surprise MJesque ending. FYI Dimash was only 22 years old when he opened and won the very first episode of the I Am Singer Chinese show in 2017 with his performance of SOS. Singer (a brilliant show) was a showcase competition for well known, established, professional Chinese singers, with a voting audience of 500 people from the music industry. Dimash was the youngest and the first foreigner ever to be invited on the show (as a wildcard) and, as a total unknown in China, he wasn’t expected to last more than half the show. He astonished everyone, came second in the competition, an overnight sensation in China (600 million views of this performance) and a global phenomenon. He will turn 29 in May. Dimash is university trained in classical (bel canto) and contemporary music and has been training (voice and piano) since he was 5 years old. He has degrees in voice (classical), contemporary music, completed a Masters in composition and is completing a PhD in musicology. He was offered a position with Astana Opera but declined to follow a career in contemporary music, mixing classical elements and traditional Kazakh music with pop music. Thanks for giving the song history. I knew this song long before Dimash sang it. To be honest, I was kinda sick of it because it seemed like every French and Quebec singer covered it. But then Dimash sang it and gave it new life. Dimash captures the meaning and emotion of the song unlike anyone else. Now it's my favorite song.

No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English). Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night.
