So, post-production ….? They auto-tuned? No, he wouldn’t need that. Perhaps the visual is slightly out from the audio? But I do believe it’s live singing.

@@BangkokVoiceCoach Even though he doesnt need it, depending on where he's performing autotune may be applied. I don't think theres any here. As to if its live, I personally don't think so but I dont think its obvious either way.

@@BangkokVoiceCoach Without the post-production process, you simply have a raw video. Basically, post-production is about editing the visual and audio components, not merely adding autotune for the sound effects. When not done correctly, we could end up with the image not matching the sound for a split millisecond, hence the impression of lip synching for live music performances. In post-production, the sound mixers will adjust all of the volume levels (basically making sure everything sounds just right), and the sound editors are in charge, for instance, of removing undesirable noise, and even adding sound effects like autotune and what not (in which case the video is heavily post produced). It must not be the case here, but it does happen sometimes with some Dimash’s performances even though he doesn’t need it, I agree. In fact, it seems standard for some TV shows/events regardless of who the artists are. In other words, it’s not up to the artists to decide the use or not of autotune during post production for their guest performances.
