This is so real! I have seen him sing this live twice & can assure you it's real! This composition came about because the more well known Ave Maria (there are many versions of this song) is associated more with Christian faith, Dimash wanted a version that any religion can associate with. The man on piano is Igor Krutoy a famous composer & he & Dimash worked on this together. Dimash is Muslim & Igor is Jewish, so, with what's going on in the world right now, it's spine-tingling to see/hear these 2 work together & also have an amazing friendship & respect for each other too. It was composed a couple of years ago, but still gives me shivers. This was a live performance. Please remember that Dimash was discovered to have perfect pitch as a child & he has constantly worked hard to perfect his voice. I don't know if you noticed, but on the last note he did an amazing crescendo & then took it back down without help from the microphone. There is a video showing Dimash learning that technique from his teacher just for this song. He constantly trains & works with teachers whenever he can, so please don't put his extremely hard work down by saying something like that. I know you have your opinion but it just seems a bit disrespectful.

This is absolutely real. Dimash sings in 7+ octaves, 14+ languages, and multiple genres. He has trained no less than 3 hrs daily his WHOLE LIFE! He studies and takes lessons to this day. He IS music.

This Ave Maria was composed by Igor Krutoy (the man at the piano), a famous russian composer, for Dimash. He writes a few songs for him. Dimash sings his songs at his concerts mostly a little bit different. Maybe to show the doubters by his voice that he sings live. There are so many fancam recordings where Dimash just sings without music and it's just great. In my opinion he always sounds better live than in his MV. At the end, the advanced vocal technique: “Messa Di Voce “ (from Italian Bel Canto technique) at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, it is extremely difficult and only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. Singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note!

This is absolutely real. I have heard this song a few times now, and it's a little different every time. This performance was the premiere of the song and the only song he sang that day. The man who wrote it was playing the piano. But words will not change peoples minds once they believe something.

Actually his voice is PITCH PERFECT. From when he was a very young child, Dimash loved music, he'd strum the dombra, etc etc. So his family cud see that he had a disposition to everything music, including "sining". At age 3 His family took him to the prestigeous Kazakhstan music school, where his voice was asessed. The family were told that he had a PITCH PERFECT voice. Enoch is fantastic and enables him to hop around from high to low and anywhere inbetween with full confidence that he will be able to sing whatever nite he wants to.

Ave Maria means "All Hail Mary" and it is a prayer to Maria the mother of Jesus for the Catholic Church. It is not ONE song: many composers used that prayer as lyrics for their compositions Most people thought this would be the traditional prayer but this is not the Franz Schubert´s Ave Maria, on Bach/Gounod´s, or Michael Lorenc´s or Ave Maria di Caccini. I know them well because I used to play them when I studied to play the piano. His singing this being a muslim in a country where there are almost no Christians would be completely misunderstood. Dimash did a new one composed by Igor Krutoy and I guess that it started to take form from that featuring in "Love is like a dream. It has not lyrics, it is magic using only one vowel and impressing on it the feeling of that prayer.

I understand and empathize. I also had times in my early years as a fan where I wondered if this was some kind of elaborate AI trick. Was Dimash even a real person ??? but awkward moments on film helped to reassure me plus talking to other Dears who have seen him in real life. I have no idea whether this particular performance was lip-synched to a pre-recorded track or not; I've actually always thought this one might well be live. But I do know for sure that virtually all of his subsequent concert performances have used this same track to which he does lip-synch it in those circumstances. It's an incredibly challenging piece to sing and true fans wouldn't want him to strain his voice multiple times performing it, so we are perfectly satisfied that he produced this masterpiece once, if only once! His concert performances of it have been stellar in spite of using the pre-recorded track.

If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

I think i understand what you say about perfection. I thought that maybe i'm so not perfect that i can't hear the very very small imperfection that you find in every masterpeace in art and in nature too (no crystal is really perfectperfect). A rollercoaster of competitions, events, lessons n practice.. 2017 Singer show in China. 14 songs in 5 or more languages when he only spoke 2.. Comparing the original performer to Dimash's cover version showed how much micro managing, perfectionism n god given talent goes into every performance.. His ability to convey emotions without words, his vocalisations is where the magic happened for me.. At the O2 London 2018 concert he vocalised the beginning of Autumn Strong.. Working with Igor and becoming his friend pushed Dimash away from his Michael Jackson popstar roots and into a more popdiva with wings..
