Musically it is my favorite to listen to. My favorite to watch is Screaming Idol Hits version where he interacts with the audience. All three of these performances are wonderful, just different. Would like your reactions to three performances of "The Diva dance": from Singer 2017 "Adagio + the Diva dance"; from Bastau concert "The Diva Dance" (quite short); and "Drunken Concubine and the Diva Dance" . Very different and surprising performances.

Personally I'm not overly keen on this version but I'm guessing that he felt he needed to update this for his return to China. My favourite will always be the rock and rap version from Idol Hits.

If you do Screaming from one of his concerts you will see him go right into the audience so many times, shaking hands, saying thank you. In the New York concert, he not only went into the audience but took the time to introduce and thank all of his band members, back up singers, dancers, family members, etc. He went through the audience saying thank you over and over and over. He is back in Beijing, he is in China for the next 4 to 5 months at least so we look forward to watching him in his TV show every week. Then Spring festival and hopefully he can fly to Russia to film the New Year shows but who knows. Most of Dimash's songs are in English lately and yes he speaks pretty good English now and ge will be having an intensive Chinese Mandarin language course while ge is there. He has been learning Mandarin but ge is finding it hard but he understands it after being there for 4 years before covid so he can add it to his list of languages. He did learn many languages phonetically but he made sure he knew exactly what he was singing in order to understand the feeling and emotion of the song 🎵 he sings thus song very differently from the original song. It's kn his 2019 album iD which became platinum in 34 seconds and triple platinum in under an hour. He also has an MV on his channel, there is the version from Idol Hits TV show with a rapping section in the middle as well as numerous versions on his concerts. This was his very first song in English back in 2019. He is almost fluent now ❤

A good bit of the operatic vocals heard here are his backup in the music video. When performing it live he would have to perform it as he does here or use a vocal track of himself, which he didn't want to do. This is amazing, as he always is, but hearing his overlapping vocals in the music video should not be missed.
