Did you notice the man in the white shirt giving a standing ovation? That is Igor Krutoy & he went backstage after this performance to meet & speak to Dimash & this is where their fantastic collaboration began. Songs like The Love of Tired Swans, Our Love, Olimpico, Ave Maria, I Miss You, all came out of this collab. The 1st one, The Love of Tired Swans was not written for Dimash, but he gave it the Dimash magic, together with Madamoselle Hyde. If you haven't reacted to these songs, then I highly recommend them. Oh & Dimash didn't win the Chinese competition, I Am Singer, he came 2nd. He was the 1st non-Chinese to be in the show & they wouldn't let a 'foreigner' win.
