3 жыл бұрынHey friends, in this video I go through the full spec of the Baby Dean From Hell ML guitar that was released back in 2005 and compare it with my USA Custom Shop Commemorative Limited Edition Dean From Hell from 2015.
This obviously is not a fair apples to apples comparison, but I thought it would be fun to do a shootout between basically the cheapest Dean From Hell and arguably the most expensive Dean From Hell you can get.

That Baby Dime ML was my first guitar. It came in a starter kit with amp and bag. Not sure if I could ever part with it at this point

I had a dean baby z, and it was pretty cool. You could feel that it wasn't a high quality guitar, but it was very comfortable to play. Sounded fairly decent. I wish I still had it. :(

Good video, I have a Baby from hell and I had a Dean Black bolt. The baby has a great sound for the price, they are comfortable and it is pretty. after a while I modified it with some EMG pickups and the sound of it is brutal.

I'm going to be putting in for the $1000ish dollar dean from hell after I get a new amp. I think a Dean from Hell should be in every guitarists arsenal, and you know Dean will be making those for the rest of eternity.

So someone offered me one of those baby deans for my affinity squier telecaster. Is it worth it? I don’t play the tele caster too much as I mainly play metal.

These Baby DFHs have been unavailable for quite some time, right? They blew these starter packs out like, ten or so years ago.

Yes, they were released with a little amp, gigbag, strap, poster, and maybe some other stuff...I believe they started in 2005 and only did them for a year or two? I'm not entirely sure, but they weren't out for a very long time.

Dean lost the license to sell Dime things, therefore they can't sell Dime guitars anymore

The guitar in this video is the USA version, it's 41/100 (which I have mentioned in the video and have done a separate video on it). As far as the used market the asking price for these is near the $10k CAD range right now (I was also informed by the seller of one recently that it went for almost $10k CAD). Thanks for watching.

Prices are getting stupid seriusly stupid and its the guitar collector thats doubg it. Hell ive got a funky monkey snow camo i got for free. It was stripped but still free is free. I wouldnt paythose prices for a dime guitar know matter what and iam a big Dime fan.

The one in this video is the second run of 100 dfh USA limited guitars. The first run that came out had a recessed floyd,this one is a top mount which is closer to the original dfh design...tho not exact. The og dfh was a trans cherry finished flame series(solid mahogany/no maple top) that buddy put a Floyd on when he painted it with the lightning bolts. Most of us in Arlington back then saw it in its og form before Darrell got the yellow firebird.
