Goto aetherhub and search for an esper legends deck made by bennijam (it's my own build) and give that a run cgb you WILL NOT be disappointed.... You said in your video you wanted the deck to operate even when it doesn't draw ratadrabik..... Ive deemed it the scoop forcer

Have only been playing MTG for around 8 months i think...spent a bit but not a lot...just mainly on mastery...i'm not that knowledgeable in the game but have been watching your videos for info and general fun for a while... I love control but found myself forced into generic builds because of lack of rares/mythics...been trying to build a blue/black build for ages but lacking the lands etc....i had something similar to this deck.....but was missing something....this video showed me....it only cost me a rare and mythic to finish it (im still missing a couple of the rare lands) It's a lot of fun to play (i was playing mono black like everyone else to rank) and stands up very well to most decks i come across....so thanks very much!!

Funny you mentioned the poses of hullbreaker and Shelly. The dimir decks I played a season or two ago was “dimir hands” because hullbreaker and lier have the same pose.

Thank you bro, Dimir is my favorite and my best setup was turning your izzet into Dimir (7-0) but this looks So much more satisfying to play. I wish there was a way to get pilfer in because it doesn’t miss but I guess that’s what Liliana is for Now that I say it out loud

I made a micromancer deck similar to this one with some one mana reanimator combat tricks, worked well for me and worked great with lier to keep him alive!

I think there is a deck that Kaito is good in, but it's Dimir/Grixis aggro, probably running Braids as well. I'm on a Dimir build with 10 one-drops that are enchantments and/or spirits (Reckoner Raid, Lantern Bearer, Chef) so I can have Geistlight Snare online early, which is a huge help when you're on the draw.

My dimir list for the most part runs counter spells, (essence scatter, dissipate, devious cover-up,) the celestus, witness the future, memory deluge, rona's vortex, march of wicked sorrow, hero's downfall, invoke despair, and the only creature being 2 copies of rona, sheoldred's faithful. I just try to get myself in a spot where rona slowly kills opponent while I cast counters/kill spells in the midgame, until I'm in a spot where i can just cast invoke despair with counter magic up. pretty satisfying when it works out. Best part about rona is that it is a recurring threat if they kill it.

Ohhhh so I have you to blame for this🤣 man oh man I played this damn control deck twice in a row earlier....so much for sitting down to play magic for twenty minutes 🤣 I was playing esper legends (look it up on aetherhub bennijam esper legends) it's kinda like what cgb plays but I'm all in on the Geralf synergy and relic of legends is nuts in this build....only thing it's missing is a one mana legendary creature.....if brothers war could bring us a 3/3 one mana vanilla creature like the one from original kamigawa esper legendary relic will be the best deck in the format easily

At 42:05 why does he say he's supposed to wait for him to untap and remove the Teferi on their upkeep? What's the benefit of doing that when he can get countered?

If they countered the Rona's Vortex it would tie up opponents mana, making opponent take a turn off. After upkeep Opponent has priority and can activate Teferi. Unfortunately, opponent had another Teferi in hand.

@@Ceyx000 Still feels strange to me. Like if he wanted to remove the Teferi.. he should want to remove it. Waiting and giving them the option to trade the vortex for a 2 mana counter is not something I would think is the obvious thing to do. But CBG is higher level than me so I tried to wrap my head around it.

Why draw with Celestus when you have no cards in hand though? You could draw a Lier and than would have to discard it.

I believe it is because it is a bit too slow for the way the deck is buit. It would made some hands much clunkier and Lier already gives a lot of value anyway. You don't want to have Lier, Lily, Horror e Silver in your top 10, for example

Happiness is counting rare as 1 and mythic as 2. When the opponent has x3 points in play just concede and don't waste your game time. Crap floats so let the small ego players drift off and end the month playing people that enjoy the game. Compare the rewards and just enjoy playing decks that have mechanics and don't waste your time playing the boring meta crap. When you can call the cards they will play after seeing the colors they are playing. Concede sink down away from all the boring crap.
