As someone who doesn't live in either the USA or Ukraine I find it somewhat humorous and ironic how quickly the Ukranian people are teaching all the NATO forces how to innovate. This is why I keep supporting Ukraine, they're so creative, so humble, and yet so fierce when defending their own. A very bright contrast to the darkness, brutality and ugliness of the Russian elites, military forces and even the people. 🔱💯🇺🇦🇨🇦👍

Dimko, there are people trying to repair drones, saving a lot of money, 1 Mavic cost = 15 repaired drones. See if you can find former military personnel that could learn how. Jonathan, please pass this along. It will make the front better for many ops.

Exaclly - what defines russia is ignorance, failure, poverty, envy, hate, vengance, terror, violence, death and distruction … these oligarcs have never seen money in there lives and have made the worst possible use of it!… the rest have never the chance to make use of money and so are extremelly resentfull going to Ukrsine to steall anything they can, besides commiting large scale atrocities !… russia is indeed a imense evil empire, were moral misery reached the higest levels!… almost to bad to be true!

This is so inspiring. What a righteous dude. I am also a software engineer, and I built a tool that simplifies congressional advocacy here in the US. It’s amazing how there are _thousands_ of individuals out there from both Ukraine and outside Ukraine are raising _millions_ per year with despite not being wealthy, connected, well know and w/only modest followings. They’ve been the backbone of sustaining Ukraine when foreign aid drys up or falls short. It also shows people’s hunger to get involved in something that matters rather than just waste their lives on shallow distractions and focused only on their own personal comforts.

That he and his fiance' have made this decision of commitment to each other and simultaneously to their fellow countrymen during an extremely stressful and dangerous time is profoundly inspirational to those of us around the world who support Ukraine in its life and death struggle against its barbaric invaders. As a retired US military officer and combat experienced fighter pilot, I salute Dimko for his bravery and the many innovative contributions he has already made to his country's survival. It’s interesting how Western the individual, bottom up efforts of this young man appear to be and how much it seems to contrast with the way things are done in Russia. I am curious whether the divergence reflects historical differences between Russian and Ukrainian culture or are recent changes in younger generations that have been more exposed to the west.

Most likely both and a number of other factors, including simple geography. Ukraine is closer to the heart of Europe. Now, I'm not Ukrainian but my country declared independence from the ruins of the Russian Empire and let me tell you, our relationship with imperialism is very different from Russians' relationship with it. We have defended our freedom from Moscow oppression with blood. Russians resent that they lost their status in the world, i.e. that they lost their ability to rule our free nations. Their identity is tied to imperialism whereas ours aren't. That suffocates any and all attempts to modernize.

"....to detect a 'juicy target'"! Dimko, your command of contemporary idiomatic English is truly extraordinary. I have to believe how valuable this key additional skill will be in liason with allied military authorities, particularly the Americans! You are truly the prototype for the Ukrainian version of the "six million dollar man"! If I were a Russian field general in Donbass or Crimea and watching this podcast video, I would be quaking in my boots at the news of his commissioning in the Ukrainian officer corps! Memo to the Ukrainian general staff: Because of Dimko's invaluable and now publicly unveiled contributions to your military war effectiveness, and in regard to his potentially devastating combat impact once deployed to the battlefield, he has become a high value target for the Russians to destroy. Hopefully you will provide him with the personal security protection commensurate with his value to your offensive capabilities!

One, Ukraine is a major European tech hub so this topic was bound to come up sooner or later. Two, the youth of Ukraine gives me a lot of hope. What a stark contrast to Russia. Masha Gessen wrote in their book a few years before the full-scale invasion about the youth of Putin's Russia, and the theme was that there is no future. Now that I think of it, that might give some additional insight into the war; why Russians can't just let go and go home. Three, many 25-year-olds aren't thinking about getting married but war, literally a life and death situation, makes you think that there is not an infinite amount of time to have fun and hang out. You mature earlier. Become more ready to make that commitment, to tie the knot, if you happen to be lucky enough to go through that ordeal with a good person on your side. (If you're in an unhappy marriage, a major crisis like a war could make you want to end it instead of enduring it for years more.) I predict a baby boom after Ukraine wins.

Until reading the description, I didn’t even realize this one of the many orgs I’ve donated to. There’s almost no such thing as an ordinary Ukrainian who is involved in the fight, except in the sense there are so many Ukrainians willing to fight and/or dedicate their lives to helping the fight, helping displaced Ukrainians, caring for animals who’ve lost their families, etc.

Happy birthday and congratulations on your forthcoming marriage, Dimko. I very much hope that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will make the best use of your skills in some suitably technical role, and not waste your skillset on unrelated roles. What is supposed to happen in theory may not work so well in practice when orders have to be followed and a commander may use troops of whatever specialism to fill vacancies with lateral transfers or diagonal promotion. Ukraine has sorted out a lot in that respect, so I hope it works out well for you.

Good point Mr. Burke. In one or two sentences young Dymko outlined the entire linkage of his surveillance system. I guess that's obvious to all techies so it's not necessary to try to conceal it. But I was worrying what other truly classified material he might blurt out :-). Then I remembered this kid has a 160 IQ. He does not need anybody to advise him on discretion or anything else.

It is curious how the language alone can change the way of thinking. He is an archetypal Ukrainian and his speech in Ukrainian would sound more dreamy and poetic than rational and coherent as English dictates, the very logic of this language somehow rearranges or upgrades the Ukrainian mentality, makes the new generation of Ukrainians more competitive, even Darwinian. Unlike the chaotic Muscovite creole that downgrades them.

The INFORMATION WAR war" isn’t just rhetoric-it’s our stark reality, and like it or not, you are a combatant. We must keep the dialogue about Ukraine alive, now more than ever. By simply engaging with mass media and social platforms, you have enlisted in this critical war of narratives - YOU ARE a combatant on the side of truth. Ukraine is performing a terrible, great and noble service for the democratic world. All we have to do is the right thing. It's up to US to support this monumental endeavor in every possible way. Indifference and apathy are the silent casualties here. Every unchallenged falsehood or spread of disinterest only fortifies our adversary. Ignoring this battle isn’t an option, these are the very trenches of the information war. I know: you're tired-we're all tired of hearing so much human suffering on all sides, day in and day out-and I really understand the fatigue; we're bombarded daily with the harsh realities and sickening scale of human tragedy. Ukraine is bombarded daily with actual ordnance, targeting schools, hospitals, media venues, and even transport infrastructure, utilities, and critical facilities like dams and power stations.. attacks that have already lead to an environmental catastrophe. This isn’t just another news cycle; this is our best and perhaps only opportunity to prevent a wider conflict where American, British, French and other NATO forces would be forced to confront the Russian Bear directly. So yes, I'll keep beating this drum. Russian propaganda is insidiously infiltrating our media and political institutions, masquerading as legitimate narratives. These falsehoods are sophisticated, often cloaked in the guise of historical or moral righteousness, making them perilously deceptive, and seeming right while subtly manipulating our perceptions and opinions. Don't be a casualty in this information war. You can protect yourself. Arm yourself with knowledge, shield yourself with provable facts, and exercise research & skepticism. Share and engage with true stories of resilience and bravery, like the children of Kharkiv adapting to their new 30 feet underground school where learning continues, even as Russian bombs continue raining down across the country. Schools, hospitals, shopping malls and care facilities are prized targets for Russian glide bombs, drones, and missiles. Don't just believe me - see for yourself! Edmund Burke’s words have never been more relevant: 'All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.' Stand up. Speak out. Do your part. Heroyam Slava! (Written by @jayrey5390. I edited his worthy message.)

Dymko, you look to be ready to take over as president of Ukraine at age 25. Well, your background is more suitable for presidency than Zelenskyy himself. .. OK, 25 is too young. After you've some spent some years in the military, And have even become a family man, I'd be ready to donate to your election fund. .. Except you may be more needed as a business leader during reconstruction. I am referring to the reconstruction that will be funded by the $630 billion the defeated Russia will be contributing to Ukraine.

The new version of the Lancet kamikaze drones. According to the developers, they are designed to work in "swarm" controlled by a neural network that distributes targets for attacks between drones. Earlier, the Russians said they could start using technology to launch strikes using "swarms of drones," as reported by well-known volunteer Maria Berlinskaya. According to her, this poses a great threat to the armed forces of Ukraine. Russia has overtaken Ukraine in terms of the number of drones at times. If the superiority continues to grow, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have to retreat tens of kilometers, - veteran volunteer Maria Berlinskaya "We have wasted time [...] When they work out the automatic drone control systems, a swarm of thousands of drones will fly at us and we will have to retreat tens of kilometers in a matter of weeks." She also stated that "now it's not even a stalemate, but a moment of loss." According to her, not only the military-industrial complex of Russia, but also Iran, China, North Korea and Belarus are acting against the country. "Where there are no drones, people become expendable. We've come to a point where we're running out of people. And if we run out of people, if we don't save them with technology, we'll have to sit down at the negotiating table sooner or later. For us it means defeat [...] I believe that our people are old enough to be told the truth. And this truth should be heard from the Supreme Commander-in-chief," Berlinskaya believes. Plus extra basic level lesson: Electronic warfare is a formidable weapon of Russia, and Ukraine has nothing to answer with - NYT Drones have become a critical weapon for both sides of the Ukrainian conflict, but Russian electronic warfare and the lack of coordination between the Armed Forces of Ukraine put Ukraine at a disadvantage, writes The New York Times. For some time, Ukrainians have been enjoying their "honeymoon", using their self-detonating drones as homemade missiles. These weapons seemed to be an effective alternative to artillery shells. However, now the APU has more unsuccessful days than successful ones. After several years of honing its capabilities, the Russian army's electronic warfare equipment has become one of its most formidable weapons. Russia currently has more electronic warfare equipment. This technique, as the publication explains, is capable of suppressing Ukrainian signals, working at the same frequencies and with greater power. In addition, Russian troops also demonstrate better coordination between their units than those of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian soldiers, commanders and military analysts, in communication with the publication, stated that Russian electronic warfare means create pressure on the already limited stocks of UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and threaten to leave a key component of the Ukrainian arsenal out of business, since Russia itself is now mass-producing drones.
