If I am not mistaken, Carl has explained it on his Patreon that he has coded into his mod for celebrities to not "behave or be react to" so that all Sims can dine out like normal.

As someone who doesn't have Dine Out I falsely assumed that EA had fixed the mod when I read the title of this video but of course that will never happen.

I totally agree with you, Satch. This mod has been a game-changer for the Dine Out Game Pack. I would not play Dine Out without it.

I just highly suggest that people check out ALL of Carl's mods! If you only want to use a few mods, use MCC, and Carl's stuff. He has Game Overhaul, which does many things that you would need SEVERAL mods for, otherwise. He has one that lets you click 'evolve all' or 'fertilize all' and your sim will then go do that, instead of you having to click each plant individually to do that. He has lots of quality of life stuff that's kind of grouped into a few mods, so you don't need to download a lot of stuff, but the mods themselves have lots of options in game that are easy to sift through. So if you just want quality of life upgrades, he's got you covered!

This is SUCH a great mod. It's a game pack in itself.

Honestly at this point Im waiting the sims team to make their final patch and have modders fix the game to playable, you literally need so many mods that keeping track of them all is a chore on itself

@1:10 how very Sims 2. My game play last night in Sims 2 used that "pay to enter" kiosk because I just wanted to run a buffet restaurant and not deal with taking orders and waiting on tables. It's a fun way to level up a cooking career sim, which is what I was doing while she lived in the studio upstairs.

I cannot stress enough how amazing this mod is - I use it all the time. EA should learn something, or just hire modders. FYI: if you want more customers in your restaurant you can use the decals that came with Dine Out, place them around the lot and they will bring you more customers.

with little miss sam's you could own your own bar at the house you just need get to work and base game for it to function and some other stuff

You could also make a club and run the club while you run the shop. That way people can do or don't want you want. Helps some with stories or legacy's. I have other club mods just for this.

So excited about this! I think you keep mixing up hosts with servers. Hosts are stuck to the host station. You don’t need a host or server station if you do pickup only. The server station has no functionality really.

And yet, the mod doesn't provide breaks for the working Sims. Add that feature, and the mod is complete!

There is a mod that allows you to own a bar if you want. You took a restaurant mod to not use it for a restaurant. There is also a mod you can do an arcade and have it charge Sims to enter.

And here I thought EA was gunna fix their pack, never mind 😂

I had to delete the mod cause it was outdated and was glitching everything, I hope this update fixes it, I can’t believe gurus hasn’t fixed it, it’s a cool pack that we can’t use !!!!!

Here's the problem I have, I don't play with mods. I shouldn't have to. The game mechanics should just work. I feel EA doesn't fix their broken bs because they know modders will just fix it for free. There's a lot of people who don't use mods for various reasons. This is still unacceptable to me. EA fix your sh!t

Done out actually works ok for me. Way less buggy and it doesn’t take 3 days to get served. Still some things that don’t go 100% but it’s playable.

Am I the only one whose Dine Out has always worked properly? Sim KZfaqrs always say it's broken but...but mine works. lol! I always have my sims go on dinner dates. The only issue I remember is a period of time where they'd stop eating if their drink was empty. So I just stopped ordering drinks for the sims I wasn't in control of.

in my game, theres a glitch that when i make the emplyees outfit in cas, it doesnt save the outfit i made. does this mod fixes that? or its just a specific glitch in my pir@ted game?

When I've seen this on my starting page, I thought for a moment EA had fixed Dine Out. Where is that delusional part of me and why won't it disappear?

I mean, I guess I can get Dine Out now because modders came to the rescue.

The sims 4 becomes a waste of money, because why with the addition of Dine Out they didn’t open up the bartender/chef base game career why would they still be rabbit holes? And restaurant owners are entrepreneurs but entrepreneurship didn’t become available until high school years what the heck? The packs are completely unorganized and it becomes insulting as the player when you have to finesse a story line as opposed to it playing out more naturally.

Unfortunately, even with the mod, restaurants don't work for me. Everyone, patrons and staff alike, just stands outside for hours.

This mod makes me want to get dine out. Except I dont want to pay EA for a long broken product.
