Your demeanor is very relaxing. I enjoyed your odyssey quite a bit. I am 3/4 done with finishing a 15' lugsail craft started by some friends about 5 years ago. I do believe I will be the one to finally "splash" this hull. Retired these 12 years I am enjoying a quiet life and hopefully soon one with wind, waves and a quiet mood such as your own. Very nice vid - if I may offer some advice : when reefing your main you should not put any strain on the reefing cringles (i.e., they should not be used to lash the sail to the boom). This will not only spoil sail shape, but also quickly destroys your sail (as is evident from the hard creases in your main at 12:19), since there is no reinforcement there as at the clew and luff grommets, where the sailmaker usually adds layers of reinforcement patches (though I'm not sure I can see that in your case). In fact, it is not even necessary to tie in the reefing cringles (I never do) - they are for the most part "cosmetic" (though in some situations may help to control flogging).
