@floofzykitty50722 жыл бұрын
The portions have to be so small because often there are 4-5 courses. When you go and eat at a regular restaurant they aren’t expecting you to eat 5 things, so you get a portion size for one meal and perhaps room for dessert after. Actually LOOK at how much food she is getting. 2 fish servings 1 soup with what seems to be pork in it 2 desserts 3 appetisers That’s eight plates of food. Anyone who has had sushi can attest to how filling food that “looks small” can be.

Michelin stars have more to do with solving a business problem rather than the food. Or at least that’s how it used to be. Won’t yuck your yum/tread on your bread ^^

Hi Tina! I've loved your videos on Tik Tok and didn't realize this video was uploaded on KZfaq! I am the Brand Marketing Specialist for GAON and I'm so surprised to see that you have visited our restaurant!!!! And also many thanks for your video to share your experience :) To add onto what you have already mentioned in the video, although the Chef does respect the traditional dishes and techniques, he was more inspired by the "flow of what the most important person of the nation, the king, ate throughout the day" as he believed it was organized the way it was for the well-being of the king. So rather than the dishes being the modern versions of the traditional dishes, the course of the dishes was organized the way it was as the Chef feels following the flow of nature/season (as the king used to in the past) is the best way to stay health. That's why we offer different courses for different seasons made with seasonal ingredients. Also, we want every guest to feel as if they a king when dining with us :) I hope you felt as if you were a king and please let us know when you do come back❤️

Guys, stop criticizing her dress, the food, the price, the guy’s t-shirt. She’s just sharing her experience. The dress looks nice on her and also if the guy wants to use a t-shirt, then it’s totally ok. Actually, most people with money that go to those places dress casually. It’s frequently the poor people that try to dress fancy in order to impress. After that dinner they are still being the same human beings than before. To that people who are kinda jealous, please chill.
@odietamo93762 жыл бұрын
No, most people that go to high end restaurants dress up a little, and they should. But I’ve already replied to you in more detail elsewhere. Poor people are not likely to be in a three star restaurant to begin with. It’s more a question of taste and good manners.
@bobbyiconic2 жыл бұрын
@@odietamo9376 Not really lol it's not like they SHOULD. It really depends. I've been in Atelier Crenn in San Francisco and most people were dressed casually. I mean, even the owner was extremely casual LMAO. On the other hand, when I went to Eleven Madison Park, people were kinda fancy though so I think it depends. However, a lot of millionaires dress casually wherever they go because they are very confident and they don't care what people say. That's why they are successful.
@bunnii55012 жыл бұрын
I think she's dressed fine but I understand why people are criticizing the guy's t shirt because lot of fine dining restaurants have dress codes.
@odietamo93762 жыл бұрын
@@bobbyiconic You’re hilarious. I live in SF. The only thing I agree with you about is that it depends upon the restaurant. Some are more casual than others, it’s true, and maybe more are now than in the past because America is devolving more and more into a jeans and t-shirt culture. The sloppy look for everything, even high end restaurants. But most such places expect people to dress up a little, and most people WANT TO. It’s a special occasion, whether it’s because of the restaurant itself, or celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, or whatever. If you can go to places like that for dinner every night, good for you, you’re in the one percent. I really don’t give a damn how millionaires dress or what their motives are, but I don’t think it is because they are more confident and they don’t care what people say, and that certainly is not why they are successful. In fact, I’d say really financially successful people care very much what people say, and that is part of why they are successful. Not caring what people say can come from being independent and confident and knowing your own mind and having your own standards, or it can come from arrogance and not giving a shit about others. For you my guess is that it’s all about what you want; the world revolves around you. Going to an expensive restaurant in a t-shirt and sneakers is a form of reverse snobbery. It’s the Silicon Valley super wealthy look, pioneered by Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg, never wearing anything but a black turtleneck or a gray t-shirt, just to show that they are billionaires and don’t have to bother with anything, not even the most modest of social conventions. Fine, go ahead, have a blast.

A 3 star Michelin restaurant is not an indication of price, there is a michelin star hawker that sells for less than $2 per meal And just because you didn't grow up in a privileged household doesn't mean you can't attain money enough to fund these food trips, she makes content out of it so it's investment to make videos out of it to further her KZfaq career Really no need to put someone down for things like this

I use go have a crush on girl like you...she was sweet and nice Infront of her parents and others but as soon as she was apart from certain people she acted stuck up and all that little cuteness went away... She thought she was all that bc her parents were well off and they kept her In a cute lil bubble from the world...

I’m getting hungry watching this Not because I want to eat the food, but because the portions are so small I’m feeling the hunger after leaving from a $500 meal there

Im not gonna lie but you dressed very good for a 3 Michelle star resteraunt
@TierraD20212 жыл бұрын
If I'm misinterpreting your meaning please correct me 😅 But 3 stars is the highest Michelin give out and this means that restaurant has, in their words, "exceptional cuisine that is worth a special journey." These restaurants are typically ultra high end, some might even say pretentious. So I think Tina is just appropriately dressed for the occasion; not too casual, but also not overdressed.
@User-vz4xm2 жыл бұрын
There’s usual a dress code for 3 stars restaurant… so she dressed accordingly

Yes, the portions are small, but meals like this tend to be no less than 5 courses. If you had 5 courses with the standard portion size you be sick by the 3rd, and it’s considered bad manners to take food to go. In fact, most nice restaurants don’t even have takeout boxes or bags.
