Sakuraco offers nice things but even with a yearly subscription shipping is still 30% of my cost and that's not acceptable to me. I want products and not subsidise post companies. Same thing when donating money, I don't want to give 30 out of 100 bucks to Google instead of e.g. sharla.

Fun fact: I'm a Scottish barista and after hearing you talk about London Fogs, I learned how to make them and we now have them on the menu at my work! Only two people order them, because no one else knows what it is, but they're so good!

As an English guy married to a Quebecois living in Canada I can recommend the following foods and experiences: Tim horton, Krispy Kreme donuts, Poutine, gourmet burgers, steak house, beaver tails, 2 bite brownies, drive 50KM+ into the country side/forest to see all the beauty, experience just how dark it is a night which is something you can't really appreciate in the UK, Canadian breakfast, Canadian pancakes with proper maple syrup, a NHL game, lobster, fondue. There may be many more but that is just what I can think of at the moment. Enjoy your stay in Canada.

I haven't watched any abroad in japan or Sharlas videos in years, and this popped up. It's so heartwarming that they are now dating. It's like the good version of your sister and childhood friend getting together while you're at uni. I love Chiss little strikes of grey too.

It's definitely fun in general to explore and go shopping together. Yo my husband brought me to an American Ikea before I moved here and it was so fun to see the differences, it's still my go-to for Swedish foods to this day.

It is so much fun to share holiday traditions with folks from other countries and cultures. I hope you guys get to blend your traditions for many years to come. A couple of years ago I got two gingerbread house kits for my sons and me to put together after dinner and at some point I thought it would be funny to make a two story strip club. My sons (they are both grown) we’re a little apprehensive at first but it didn’t take them long to get into it. That is one of my favorite holiday activities we’ve done in a long time. I still get tickled when I think about it.

pea soup, pouding chomeur, cretons, screech, beavertails, peameal bacon, tourtiere, nanaimo bars. butter tarts, ketchup chips, Im from eastern canada so there are big differences between here and AB. I hope Chris and you enjoy your visit home!

I was going to say ketchup chips 😂 I don't know if they have tourtière in BC. I don't remember seeing any when I lived in AB 🤔
