Most kids are able to make a sandwich though. So, I wouldn't necessarily force them to eat the food I cooked for them if they don't want it. If they don't want it, they can make their own food. Make your own sandwich. It means more cooked food for me anyway. I think in this video, I'd let the kid have the PB&J but he has to make it on his own with no help from me.

@@-themightymittens- oh yeah, I remember my dad's rule was eat what is in the table of starve. So, I starved multiple times at five years old. I knew how to starve myself and didn't mind the feeling of hunger. To me, it was just a *feeling*. It wasn't painful like getting a shot or being screamed at. So, it was never unpleasant enough for me to want to force myself to eat. That uh became a problem as a teen because my anorexia used my lack of care about the feeling of hunger and convinced me that it actually felt good. I also developed ulcers and acidity. So yes, to those parents out there, if u do the my way or the highway as a parent, ur kids are perfectly capable of taking the highway multiple times and destroy their health, to which, you, as a parent is responsible for because kids don't understand the consequences of their actions. So, they will destroy their health multiple times without knowing it. Heck, they'll run through a busy street and jump in front of a car if they could.

Sooo true. Being the oldest does have some percs like you dont get hand me downs but when it came to discipline if my siblings do e anything wrong i got the worst of the punishment because "I was the oldest and should have stopped them".. Even when i had no idea where they were because i was over at a friends house. So yeah fun times.

Same. I was the youngest of 8, and the only reason I got more stuff than my older siblings is cuz they all moved out by the time I was growing up so we were not QUITE as poor as when 5 of them were living with my parents at the same time.

I remember when I was young I watched the movie “What about Bob” a lot, and one word that I learned from that movie was “Damn.” My mother used to put soap in my mouth to “clean my dirty mouth.” (lol). I distinctly remember my little sister saying “F*ck you” to my mother and she got a simple “No that’s bad”
