I love the second song the most ( but all their music is good); am aware it's a remake of a Frankie Lane song.I think Dion's version is better, just seems to have more pep to it.

I'm 49, when I was about 10 years old, I used to go to sleep listening to this music, with a small radio close to my ears so that I wouldn't wake up any one, when my mom heard the music 😆🤭 she would get so mad at me, and I had to turn the radio off ( when volume was a little to high I guess) I have always felt like I was born in that beautiful era 😍😍😍😍😍🎵🎶🎼🎤🎺📻☎️📟📺🎬📽🎥📹📼

Absolutely GREAT doo-wop group. About halfway through the song "Every Little Thing I Do" there's a short falsetto bridge done by their first tenor that is, for me, the most splendid and lyrical doo-wop passage ever recorded.

I remember waiting and waiting for these little Laurie 45's to come to my record store. Back then, you could take the record and listen to it in a glass booth. I could barely afford one 45, but they were treasures that I played hundreds of times. Love you Dion.

"I wonder why" If we have to choose just one song to identify what doowop is, it's this one.

I'd have to call a tie. Two very different songs: I Wonder Why and Where or When. First Wonder Why is my best doo wop song ever. Second - Where or When beautiful cover of R&H

true story: ALL great white singers learned from black musicians and were influenced by them. you can tell white singers who weren't--their singing is usually so vanilla and uninspired. Dion DiMucci is a great example of a white guy who loved black music and was inspired by it. in fact, a lot of white doowop bands were inspired by black musicians. two other great examples are Janis Joplin and Amy Winehouse. the richness and variety of their vocals is definitely doowop and gospel inspired.
