Not surprised - in all her performances - either in a closed studio production like this video, or in front of a full blown live orchestra on a outdoor festival stage, she just walks right on, doesn't miss a beat finding her spot, and invariably nails it on the very first note, no matter how difficult - it's stunning craftsmanship

I believe that Dionne started out singing Gospel music. To this day I have never heard a vocalist with a more beautiful tone to their voice. Her songs are sheer poetry and mezmerizes her audience as she sings her narratives. IMHO, there has never been a better musical team than Dionne, Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Their songs have remained timeless for six decades. 😅

Oh wow! This song brings back so many memories. The golden years of music, the innocent 60’s with so many talented singers but especially Dionne and her unmatched voice and style. ❤️❤️
