What a helluva catalog of music!

Ms Lavender: Your words reminded me of when I was a child as well. I was always facinated by Glen Cambells talent. I grew up watching the Glen Campbell Show in Belfast Northern Ireland and he finished a show one night playing the bagpipes and he was brilliant on them also. He always carried himself with the most incredable confidence, but never in an arrogant way whatsoever!

As a kid growing up in this era I took it for granted that most music was like this. And it continued through all of the seventies and most of the eighties. There is, and always will be talent out there. Unfortunatly it's just not as mainstream as it used to be.

I’m 53 and I know the difference ! Even our stereos have slipped , garbage in garbage out. Teach your children what real music is . Expose their hearts and souls before we lose them. My exgirlfriend came home from law school one day and one of her professors asked that she listen to something he showed her and it was absolute garbage . Needless to say we are not together . Remember good music is timeless . If you hear a loud stereo playing good music it’s probablyme shoving down your throats.

My favorite Burt song is “Any Day Now.” "Any Day Now" is a popular song written by Burt Bacharach and Bob Hilliard in 1962. It has been recorded by numerous artists over the years, including notable versions by Chuck Jackson in 1962, Alan Price in 1965, Elvis Presley in 1969, and Ronnie Milsap in 1982.

What a joy to watch. Times were very different and in a great way. I've been singing and humming Burt's and Webb's songs since I was a kid and I'll never stop. In fact my mom said I sang Glen Campbell songs before I talked. I still can't sing to save my life.
