First time seeing this 30 April 2024……. This is really impressive, the diorama and photos work together so well… I would’ve liked to see more of the building process and resource use… BUT, at the same time it wasn’t necessary… Everything was direct and to the point… There’s a lot of DETAILS to look at… There’s a Story going on here It’s how a person sees it all… ORANGES IN THE DESERT CHRIS 🇺🇸 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊

To be honest, I was so carried away by painting that I forgot to take pictures, moreover I didn’t have a KZfaq channel for that time... I’ll try not to forget again...

Awesome video, inspiring to move up to 1/32. to give detailing a shot. Loved the German music in the background, that might help too. Only thing I can't seem to make work is this undercoat spray technique.

Yes, pre shading, while it appears to follow panel lines, it also seems very random, each video overseen, the technique is different. Reminds me of the old " etch a sketch" pads, if you lucky you get a recognizable image . Not a critisisim just don't understand the technique.

@@bobhaltom2588Most techniques involve spraying the darker paint over panel lines and smaller details, although the latter I see much less often. A thin coat of paint is applied afterwards to allow the technique to come through. Ideally black paint is used, but very dark brown can be passable on more sandy colours
