The "curing" drawing comes out of left field, absolutely love it.

There are so many skills displayed here: the originality of the design, the sculpting, the painting, the display (including the creepy music). Absolutely amazing.

The big reveal of the monster at the end was really well filmed--very creepy, very atmospheric. And the "curing" drawing was adorable. Things living in deep, dark water really scare me, but I hope you never stop making these dioramas, I love them so much. Your humor and your skill never cease to make me smile.

When I was really young - maybe four, five at most - I saw a movie where at one part, a man jumped into a puddle and just went underneath, without so much as a scream. I do not remember anything else about this movie, but this scene has always stuck with me. And while I would not say I have a phobia of puddles, I have certainly always been... careful before jumping in. Your creation is truly beautiful and puts into reality this feeling I've always carried with me!

I grew up in rural Australia in an old gold mining town and I remember going on a walk with a friend and his dad and it started raining really heavily. We were walking alongside a river and were completely drenched at this point when I stepped in what I thought was just another puddle and ended up to my neck in water without having felt the bottom, turns out it was an old mineshaft which was pretty common for that area but I'd never seen one completely flooded before.

When I was a child, my grandfather would point to a ball cap, or a single shoe along the street, open his eyes real big and say "I wonder what happened to the rest of him?" I used to imagine the monsters that snatched that person -- so fast that they came out of their shoe. When I saw your work here, it made me think of that. A shoe on the sidewalk and a "NY" ball cap at the bottom of the puddle monster's hole would have made it just like my childhood imaginings. ••• Thanks! PEACE!!!

It’s funny how easy it is to let your imagination run wild when you can’t see through to the bottom of a body of water. This brought back memories of being a little kid afraid to do the backstroke specifically in the deep end of the pool. I was always afraid that I would feel something graze my back and be too far from the wall to get out before it pulled me under! I overcame my fear and became a very strong swimmer, even doing the backstroke. I haven’t thought of it in a long time!

I just realized that Thalasso hobbyer is a play on thalassophobia - the intense fear of large bodies of water I love all your videos and the creativity you put into every amazing creation - can’t wait to see more!!!

The fear I felt while watching this and thinking that there IS actually an interdimensional space beneath simple, happy-looking (and somewhat disgusting) puddles of water with an actual Death Worm (or other cryptids) inside of it. This is unbelievably a very splendid work! Keep it up.

Beautiful work, as always! What a wonderful representation. Having stepped into a puddle that WAS a lot deeper than it looked, I now double-check them instead of assuming that they're only shallow. Thankfully, I never found anything like THIS at the bottom though!

Frankly speaking, I’m not afraid much of the puddles but I can imagine what if you fell into the puddle, seeing a mysterious underwater world beneath our world and inhabited by unknown creatures, it would be scary seeing a world like this. I was always fascinated and obsessed with underwater mysteries since I was a kid, and thanks to movies and literatures etc like Finding Nemo, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and several H.P. Lovecraft’s works about ocean. Nevertheless, Thalasso Hobbyer’s work is impressive, and hopefully I’ll learn more.

His themes may be strange but you've got to admit, the man's artistic talent is off the charts. Those red bricks look real.

With 3d printing so readily available it is a real privilege to see someone scratchbuild and sculpt everything, thank you for this from someone who does not own a 3d printer. Brilliant

I've yet to find another person to enjoy watching these beautiful works of modelling art with me, but I find so much enjoyment watching these and am just breath taken by how gorgeous and skillful they all are.

This one looks amazing. It reminded me a few years ago, when there was a very strong storm in my city, and my parents went to look for me in their car because there was no buses or taxis anywhere. The streets looked like rivers. And when they parked almost at the side of the sidewalk where I was waiting, I tried to got in and I stepped on a "puddle", thinking it was just that, and I suddenly sank into it up to my waist. I never understood exactly what was there, as it must have been just a street and a hole of that size had to be at least marked to avoid an accident.

I wasn't afraid of that. Now I am, thanks. Beautiful work as always though.

This is incredible. I also loved your subnautica dioramas, and hope to see more, especially leviathans. Probably too much work but a "there's always a bigger fish" diorama concept for the leviathans would be cool. Starting with the seamoth > reaper leviathan > ghost leviathan adult > etc. > gargantuan leviathan to end the food chain

There’s something mysterious about the spooky little worlds of dioramas and watching the improvised methods is very interesting. Makes me think of how to use supplies in other ways that I’ve gathered in my welding workshop.

I've always been afraid to step in puddles in places I'm unfamiliar with (ex.: sidewalk outside my house vs. a park I've never been to) because they're often deeper than they look. I've also always been scared that they open into sinkholes, so thanks for making that fear worse, haha.

Near my house there is an abandoned construction site, and there is a giant hole on the sidewalk that I imagine was going to be used to access the plumbing. I don’t even have to think about it when I walk past, just side-step and keep walking. But when it rains the whole gets covered in murky water full of red dirt and sand, so you can’t really tell the depth of it. Every time, I feel just a little tempted to jump in this perfectly-sized puddle. I never do, of course. But the thought still sends a shiver up my spine every time.

I loved the way you presented the whole piece really gave me goosebumps at the end, overall one of my favorites keep up the great work

Puddles are only scary if they're in caves. THEN you have the right to be terrified, because they are usually 2-6 feet deep. People drown in them. I love caving. I hate shallow water (I love/am fine with deep water though)

This one reminds me of the mortuary in my small town. The style and age and awning are so similar. I think that adds to my love of this. I will definitely be looking at puddles differently. I seriously love your work!

Had an experience similar to what you're evoking here. I was playing in a stream behind my grandmother's house. The water was muddy so I couldn't tell how deep it was. I took a step forward and found there was nothing to stand on, went from waist deep water to water deep enough for an 8 year old to sink under. Luckily my mom was right there to pull me out cause I couldn't swim at that age. My older cousin teased me about there being a monster in that part of the creek afterward

I don't know what you define as "popular" but over a million people know you, follow your art and like what they see :) I wish you all the best for becoming "more" popular and that you'll be able to live a good life with the money you can raise with your hobby. That's the best one can wish to an artist. Did you ever consider creating a Patreon-page where people can support you as well?

The skill it takes to plan out a project of this level amazes me, and both the architecture and creepy-crawlies inspire me to work harder on my interests. This must be my favorite thing you have ever done. I love every single thing about it! The craftmanship, the presentation of the box, the whole concept, the textures on the building, worm chan... The fact that the street alone it's a really good diorama by itself really elevates the whole piece. I love it!

Just a humble idea to you guys and girls. What about a diorama where a mystery mist, coming out of nowhere in the middle of the ocean, hiding all kinds of monsters big and smalls, crawling or flying, those that you can barely see, almost being part of the mist. The mist slowly engolfes the beautiful city by sea as the monsters catch the beachgoers while they keep swimming, surfing or just walking on the beach. In part of a beautiful resort? Just a suggestion, make the monsters real monsters, not zombies, But that’s just a suggestion. Hope you agree with my ideas, I think that it would be quite a nice one, I’d love to see the mist, water, sand, tree, bushes, monsters and people textures all put tougher with your abilities and the very capable unique printers that you have! Think about it!! Wish you good look, can’t wait to see it done!!!

This was amazing. The talent and time taken for all the detail. Putting a light before pouring the resin making it even more realistic so the monster looking up gets a touch of light from the street above.

This is some insane amount of detailed work. Your work is just head and shoulder above all other KZfaq Epoxy artists because of your process. Every other one I have seen uses blank pre-built or 3D printed models (structures, people, vegetation, monsters) and paints it to look great. You create EVERYTHING from scratch.... So freaking amazing.

I can understand this weird phobia cause I have a weird one too. Its spectrobhobia/fear of mirrors. I just always think when I look at a mirror that the person I see is not me. This also gave me alot of nightmares.
