I enjoyed the movie, despite not knowing anything about FNAF lore. Sure, the story is basic and pretty predictable, but I had a good time and that's enough for me

Having never played any of the games, I’d argue that they tried too hard to tell too much of a story (shoulda kept it a simple B-slasher with a tiny bit of lore, woulda helped the pacing), the cutaways to keep it PG-13 worked against it, and… the lighting work was quite good, definitely the highlight lol + at least David Gordon Green didn’t make it 💀
