Degree of comparability for B.E. can be applied . 2. Attested photocopy of Degree Certificate, mark sheets of all 4 years, Passport copy ,school leaving certificate needs to be submitted. I just had my ZAB results and they deemed my academic qualification as not qualified. It was evaluated as a German „Reifezeugnis“ (school-leaving certificate that enables university entrance) and parts of an undergraduate study in „Information Technology“. What should be the next step on this?

Hi Anna, do you have any information like this for students entering university as freshmen? I mean to say, those who want to attend University for the first time? I have received my equivalency diploma in Texas (USA) in lieu of High School Diploma. The desired university itself does not state that this is not accepted but “Uniassist” system it uses says it is not accepted. Since it is nationally accepted as “equivalent” to High School Diploma in my country I could not foresee any issue or understand why there would not be exceptions for international students. Any suggestions please? Thank you!

Hi, thanks for an informative video. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from India. I tried to find it on ANABIN and it says its equivalent to a German degree. Do I need to apply for recognition?

hello i have a question. im in the process of applying blue card and needed stat of comparability. Upon checking in anabin, i found out that my univ and degree are recognized and has equivalent status with German standard. But my visa office here in Jakarta still asking me to apply for Statement of comparability. my question is : is it possible to apply statement of comparability if my univ and degree are already listed in Anabin? I have asked this problem to ZAB via email but no reply yet.

Hello , I am Renato from Peru and I recently graduated as Mechanical Engineering at PUCP in Peru. I already checked that my degree is recognized in anabin web. Even though I would like to have a document from Germany that recognized my degree so as you say when I apply for a job , the employers will notice the equivalence easier. Hello Renato, very Good! Now you have to get your diploma recognition in oder to be able to work as engineer in Germany. To find out more go to "make it in Germany" site and make a quick check! Nice video. I may need to contact you. So, I live in Germany and already got a job. My industry is marketing and advertising so not regulated. So ZAB evaluated my online USA bachelor to be accredited but in terms of comparability equivalent only to one year. I was surprised. Anyways how can I make it comparable to full Bachelor program without enrollment. If that's not possible, does this mean that if I obtain a full master from Germany or UK, won't help. In other words, will ZAB say, yes you have a complete degree but we know that your bachelor isn't comparable? I want to resolve this because some companies take this importantly. Thx

Vocational Training in Germany is about 2-3,5 years. So it could be that it would not be recognized.

Hello dear Naji, as an engineer, your diploma has to be recognized. Please go to make-it-in-Germany and follow the steps there. Unfortunatelly, we didnt have time to make a video on this topic, but it is on our list. So it will follow soon. We wish you good luck!

Hello Has Bad, please check in anabin database whether your university is recognized in Germany? If it has a h+ status, then you can apply for recognition.

Sure I will you your fb page..btw I had an interview recently for 2 years contract in Germany no German required as it is a global position based in Spain or Germany as I choose.. I may get it, the only issue is I have a good job and stable/permanent , very well paid/ tax free in Dubai... do you think is it worth it to drop all to join a 2 years contract offer in Germany.. yet beside the 2 yrs contract it’s still an excellent managerial job and well paid...not sure if I can get more opportunities to stay employed in Germany

I'm from India, and I see that my Diploma college is not listed in anabin web page. Even though I have an offer letter from my organisation to move to Germany, I'm unable to apply for visa. Is there any workaround to get my visa? P.S.: kmk.org has already mentioned that "A statement of comparability cannot be issued for Diploma certificates"

The same case with me, a 12 + 3 yrs diploma and 4 yrs experienced and about to get an offer from Germany company. But i still didn't get clarification that i can get a visa and blue card 😐

@@sujith620 this is very pitty that your university does not have H+. Did your company inquire for the status of your university at the Chamber of Commerce? Sometimes this might help or clarify individual cases. I know many professionals from India in very good positions in Germany! Have you thought about comming to Germany for Studies? Then finding job here will be much easy! So, what do you think?
