I love that some of them are trying to beat down an entire castle with protest signs. Not even snapping off the board and using the stand as a club. Using the entire thing, however unwieldly.

I was going to recommend this during this weeks livestream. I've had some fun with the demo. The building design reminds me of Age of Empires.

I think I prefer Age of Darkness to this one. The cartoony elements make it difficult for me to look at, Age is a little bit more defined, while still on a similar TaB setup.

In Stronghold you can catapult dead cows into the enemy

Should have taken the catapult with the other troops and gone exploring. Exploring = the chance for carts (loots), peasants to kill (in the final wave they join in) and soul gems (magic loot). Soul gems are good for spamming the magic troops against waves. The peasant scum attack the nearest enemy, so if you spam some magic troops on an attacking wave the moment they enter the map they will stop and fight them. Then you can work out where you screwed up your defensive walls and fix your problems. This game has a learning curve. Still don't fully understand the ratios of everything, but once I got my head around the basics I didn't really find it that hard. Bit like Billions, but MUCH more forgiving and without the constant terror of a single undead you hadn't noticed sneaking in and destroying everything.

Hey Jon, I know your channel has had a large focus on indie games and developers in the past. If you are interested in potentially playing/ showcasing one I have one that i think you might enjoy. Chernobylite is an open world rpg with stealth, crafting, horror and first person shooter elements. The game is one of few games that were kickstarters and crowd funded to come out to a polished product, and I feel developers who uphold promises and deliver quality games should be rewarded for the work they put in.

I hope this game learns from TheyAreBillions and don't make the same mistakes that they did (like the Super Mutants and awful campaign) I really dislike that trees are not considered barriers, but I like that you can chop trees down. I wish they would make a compromise, so you have barrier trees and you can chop them down to create chokepoints. Love the magic system, really fun mechanic Looks pretty promising though, lets hope it turns out good

When Jon just describes a game, I can go straight to the climax of the video. I'd like to see less explanation and more dry wit. Inb4: no, his content wasn't always like that. It changed almost overnight and you can see it in one of his fallout NV runs.
