Teardrop in my eyes... This song, this version, I have no words to tell how I feel while I'm listening to this magic! Mark is a genius of the guitar but he's a terrific composer as well, and wrote lyrics that are pure poetry: imaginative, oneiric. No comparison: he's the king! We love you, Mark!

Two songs brings tears to my eyes. David Draiman from Disturbed singing Sound of Silence, and Dire Straits doing Telegraph Rd. The studio version i played essentially every single day from the first day it was released in Australia up until late 2022 when i finally gave in to my interest of hearing this song done live. Took me 40 years essentially to make the switch to this version now being my my ultimayte number one of all time for most of my life, followed by the studio version , then Disturbeds version of Sound of Silence. The only songs that bring me to tears and i'm not ashamed to admit that 🙂

@@Orbitalmercury I think that many live versions are often even better than studio ones. I love both but in my opinion some live is more thrilling. I also have personal reasons to love Dire Straits and have this reaction because they are related to my love story, so... :-) Every time I listen to their songs, I think of her. As a musician I can tell that the fluid and unique style of Mark is incomparable: he is a real prince of the guitar and must sit in the top ten, even if in many ratings he's not mentioned... SHAME!

magnum opus, not magnus opus GPT says: In Latin, adjectives must agree with the nouns they modify in gender, number, and case. The Latin word "opus," which means "work," is a neuter noun. Therefore, the adjective describing it must also be in its neuter form. The adjective "magnus," which means "great," has different forms depending on the gender of the noun it modifies: - **Magnus** is the masculine form. - **Magna** is the feminine form. - **Magnum** is the neuter form. Since "opus" is neuter, the correct form of "great" to use is "magnum." Thus, "magnum opus" translates to "great work," with both words in the appropriate forms according to Latin grammatical rules.

A thousand thanks to Dire Straits and especially to Mark for giving me so many hours of happiness with his music. Music transcends social and language barriers. The only thing that saddens me is not being able to see you live, but I still enjoy these videos.

Just listened to the live version for the first time in years, gave me goosebumps and made my hair stand on end. Going to listen to it again, nothing better than this, Mark was an absolute genius .G.O.A.T
