this stuff is turning me from a tone geek in to a tone freak, I just upgraded my drives and I'm super happy with them, now this gem comes on the market and I have all these crazy thought swirling in my head, the damn thing is beautiful

Jerry used MXR D+ inside the FX loop for his distortion tones in the 70s - just sayin - also he didn’t use pedals for his clean tone, he had mods done to his Twin so he could use the volume knob to go from clean to edge of breakup - also like to add that Davvy actually nailed the tone with his setup and this pedal - well done man!

I thought he played through a Macintosh tube power amp? I’m excited to find your channel. I’m good at Jimi, Rory and Neil, but my Jerry isn’t so good.

@@thesjkexperience he did. But he also used some distortion and overdrive pedals. The Distortion + was used in the late 70s.

Pretty rad to see one of my favorite effects makers, make a Jer related drive, and see one of my favorite KZfaqrs demo it! Sounds great and classy video work and playing on this! Fun fact, my computer kept trying to change "Jer" to "Jew" in the 1st sentence. Which would of left a completely different comment here.

OK i have a Q. My buddy just bought me one of these. My board is setup like this: Tuner>Boost>MicroTron>Octive Divider>OD pedals. I dont use an effects loop. I am going directly into the SMS with my board. I dont use OBEL system on my guitars. Where would you place this if you had my board ? Im using Wolf guitars and Travis Bean. My BEan has a wicked hot bridge 13.2k and my Wolf have the Dimarzio pickups. My amp setup : SMS CTP (w/ NOS RCA 12ax7s) ART SLA-1 Power amp Furman conditioner Custom 2x12 with JBL e120's

Tuner>boost> OD Pedals> octave> microtron. You should also definitely be using the OBEL on your guitars if you have them.
