@@IRONCLADRC only reason I said something is because I couldn't get mine to fit right the way you did it. The way the cooling lines were was a give away for me. And the way they designed it to fit works better because it gets the esc out if the way tucked to the side like the stock one.

There’s a mounting post underneath the 100 amp ESC that you lift up, it pivots on a screw. (It’s laying flat on the hull until you lift it up into position) which becomes the new secondary mounting post for the 120 ESC

You guys already upgrading the ESC? I'm thinking of it, and a new radio, for telemetry. The kids ran the boat and I noticed the battery was down to 9 percent according to the charger.

@@TheZX11 the stock esc does a good job. It says you can't program it but I used a hobbywing program card and you can make adjustments. But the 120amp is a better option for it even if just stick to 4s. You can tune the 120 easier.

Are you referring to the tfl small bolt? I'm running .130 flex 1/8 stub shaft

@@IRONCLADRC what strut are you using I got the mini from ose but it's a 1/8" stub that it takes. You're using the 3/16 "stepped to 1/8" stub?

Mine is 100% stock. With the 2 piece flex square end stock stub shaft If I were to upgrade mine I'd use the micro 4mm strut found on ebay with an OSE .130 4mm steped down to 1/8 stub shaft.

Depending on your cell count and motor efficiency, a 5200Kv motor can consume a whole lot more than 120 amps. I have a 1506/1Y (5500 Kv) motor that pulls well over 120 amps on 2S with a 32mm prop in a rigger. It was WAY too much for that hull, and now that motor lives on my shelf.

Here's a video of that same boat with a smaller diameter and lower Kv motor (it's the grey "Silver Bullet" outrigger). kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ic6agNujlbSuaZs.html There's a bunch of other stuff in the video, but you can see the outrigger in the middle of the video. I had to pull the 1506 out of it because it just ate more current than the battery could supply. A 1506/1Y belongs in a 200mph pylon racer, not a boat.
