Great video bud. Just some constructive criticism..maybe show how you make the steering bends. I use a notched pair of pliers.

Awesome work as usual. Question though, when you cut the shaft, what did you use to cut? It? Was it the same cutting wheel that you used for making the flat spot on the drive dog area of the stubshaft

I wonder if you can take the epoxy and mix it in with the chopped up carbon fiber and the fiberglass and put it into like a $20 dollar general blender and put it on high for like 10 minutes

As for some of the plastic covers that go on top of some of the boats do you put anything on the inside of them to keep them from cracking in a hard crash. I see other videos where people have destroyed their canopy that screws down on the top of their boat and I wonder if if you had a fix for that. Thank you
@IRONCLADRC
@IRONCLADRC 19 сағат бұрын
Carbonfiber inlay is the best option, remove the hatch screws, rough up the INSIDE of the hatch, then epoxy w/ 6oz 2x2 twill carbonfiber. This can be done on polycarbonate, abs, fiberglass hatch and hulls

i hate drones--- It's not a model hobby it's just some type of challenge.... It's ruining our hobby..... Lithium ion got it from drone channel... They look like big flashlight batteries They're listed as 5,000 mah.... But they're actually only 900 mah...conterfeit...... I was trying to get some Round cells to recreate the look of a retro boat from the 1,980s....😢😢😢

Hello, I just got the recoil 2, 18" and took it out for it's maiden voyage, well after about 30 seconds it wouldn't steer left... somehow the servo became un-glued (crappy factory job??) just wondering what product you would recommend to re-stick the servo/plastic mounting bracket!

Thats really fast but your running a hot setup but nowaday motor are pretty much heavy duty. I've own that similar esc 10yrs ago in my 48" mono and setup for 20s (74V) with big 370kv 12kw TP motor and run for about 3 mins, all parts are cold as if Im not running at all. Now all my boats are in the store collecting dusts.
