I heard Dimash for the first time three days ago. I’m still in a state of shock. Since then I’ve watched many many reaction videos as well as him singing many songs. I started with SOS and I was speechless for hours because of its incredulity. I kept listening to more songs he sang. It didn’t matter which song. I concluded that I didn’t have a favorite. They were all my favorite each in their own right. Dimash became the song and the song became Dimash, perfection! Thanks for doing this video. Your reaction was gold.

This was the first time Dimash had performed back in Kazakhstan since The Singer 2017 had concluded in China, where 600 MILLION fell in love with him, so this was a "WELCOME HOME" sort of celebration. 30,000--50,000 were expected; 150,00 showed up and paralyzed the city. Oh--and that was a VERIFIED D-8------OFF the piano. (And the faint second, almost identical whistle a few moments later was EXACTLY that--a WHISTLE from the crowd.😉) By the way, he wrote this when he was just 19. Dimash wrote this song when he was 19 years old and the lyrics were written by Oral Baissengir, of course in Kazakh. This performance was in Kazakhstan (Gakku TV is a Kazakh television channel. I heard there were about 150,000 spectators and the city center had to be completely closed). There he hit his highest note so far, his famous D8. You don't need to look for this note on the piano, the keys weren't enough for that anymore. Some say the tone isn't exactly pleasing to the ear, but it doesn't make it any less spectacular.
