I can't begin to express how happy I am you gave him another shot. This last album was just a masterpiece. All of his albums say stories, he always just makes me want to cry with his expressive his visuals are. Thank you again for the dpr IAN love!!

I love how his dancing is also adding a whole other layer to the experience. I specifically note this because people in the west who look down upon kpop always mention the "sync dancing" as if it's a thing to ridicule. Now, I obviously don't agree with that opinion, but I think that what's more here is that DPR Ian shows how dancing isn't an impressive skill to have, it REALLY makes a difference if you know how to dance and it being another tool to express your story. He proves a point people should start listening to.

Is still no one talking about the hanged man shot (around 0:52 in this video)? the pose is of someone who has been hanged but watch the man second to the left, he even bounces as if he was dropped from a noose. eek. but man, christian's expressions during the opening and the "do you think we are really dreaming can someone tell me where i am?" scenes kill me inside.

Ian is my favorite Korean solo artist! His music and videos never cease to amaze me. I love how he tells his story through his music and is not afraid to show it either. My mom is also a fan of his after I had her watch an interview with him, explaining the meaning behind his music.

I loved your reaction and yes, Ian's work is so well craft, because he can tell his own story through a narrative. In previous mvs he had introduced us to two characters, Mr Insanity and Mito, in this clip he is presenting a new side, the hybrid. It's really cool to see how this mv fits in with others, ending with a shot of don't go insane and how with the introduction of this character we see a new side of his voice, with timbre fluctuations compatible with the background and the name of the song. I recommend you listen and react to his song called skins, it's a recent demo he released and it is incredible.

I'd hoped you might look at this when I watched it last week. The thing I love about him is that no matter how many times I see one of his videos, there always seems to be something I missed before. I almost couldn't breathe the first time I watched Limbo.

You should really do like a guide to him and DPR there is so much lore and meaning behind everything he does, I highly recommend that you watch the Zach sang interview, the kiss FM, and a new one he did an interview with a fan actually ( Say What Reacts - its really long though 2 hours!!) but in that he really dives into the lore and really explains some topics. He has been my favorite artist for so long now and I am so glad he is getting the recognition he deserves. (I would love to help if you have any questions about him, most of the info he drops is usually always on insta Live so sometimes it can be hard to find things)

Hey Roscoe, gotta say, I'm one of your biggest fans . I'm not usually into reaction videos, but yours are legit and refreshing. Just wanted to drop a quick comment. You mentioned here 4:10 that Ian can act, but that's not accurate. What you see in his music videos is not acting. He actually films them during his switching episodes, so it's all genuine. He mentioned this in one of his Instagram livestreams before. It seems like it makes him uncomfortable when people say he's acting. I know you didn't mean any harm, buddy, but just thought I'd give you a heads up.

I'm not sure if it's on purpose, but I watched the video in reverse (with normal music, not in reverse) and it's a success as it also tells you a story from another perspective.

Hi Roscoe,Ian isn't acting that was IAN transitioning into his alter MITO👁️ with his low episodes and other alter MR INSANITY🤡 with his manic high episodes. When all the music videos are being filmed DPR IAN blacks out completely and doesn't remember filming anything. Then his alters will take over. It can take him weeks even months to recover as Christian has discussed on his IG lives and Tik Tok. This is the realness and the constant struggles of him having Bipolar type 1 and D.I.D~ Dissociative Identity Disorder. I love,support and have some much admiration, and am beyond proud of Christian Yu for his incredible music and artistry. That he and DPR create while smashing the stigma associated with mental health. Even though Christian experiences this personal turmoil and anguish daily. He's always genuine,has the biggest and kindest heart,is willing to show his vulnerabilities while being so transparent to his fans and the world. This is something that you don't see with many artists. Most of all bringing awareness about mental illness and neurological disorders. With all this self sacrificing Christian does I am extremely concerned. As it will eventually take its toll. I hope he and all DPR members can have some rest break after they've worked hard and tirelessly with producing these cinematic masterpieces of M/V'S. As I completely understand how it feels having epilepsy with tonic clonic and nocturnal seizures and anxiety and depression for over 15 years. While fighting for your life everyday just to feel some sort of normalcy.It's such a rollercoaster of emotions. I really enjoyed all your reactions and insights to "LIMBO" You're such a fresh breath of air with your thoughts and I also enjoy that you are speaking from a director's pov. DPR IAN'S music videos are so theatrical and grandiose because he's been influenced by musical theatre. Also he's been influenced by Tim Burton and Steven Spielberg. When he was young he saw Cats and Phantom of the Opera and also went to a performing arts school when he was growing up in Sydney, Australia. Even though this genius artist has released several albums and many music videos that are considered masterpieces, discrimination against Asians still persists in the American music industry. ......... Whether it's the Academy or the Grammys. Since Michael Jackson left, I have never seen anyone else worthy of being called an artist except this singer. The American music industry, which cannot embrace and recognize such original and unique artists, will continue to decline as it is now.
