I absolutely LOVE this song!!! Being that I was raised in Chicago in the 80's, this has Deep House vibes! Deep House was very popular in the 80's and early 90's in Chicago! It takes me back to those good ol' days!

I absolutely love this song. And it was immediate, even from the teaser. I love house, I love electronica in general. I just want to say though, this is not a club song to me! This is London on a summer afternoon at your friends house with some great people, maybe a bbq, pregaming before you head out for the evening, except you end up having such a great time that you never make it out the house (and also maybe end up hooking up with your friends brother, but nobody needs to know about that)! Or it’s the beach, or it’s a festival. I don’t know, I just think this song needs to be heard when the sun is shining!

Yet another great video discussion about the Golden album. This song is so relatable and also stays on repeat. Don't feel infatuation or love at first sight from this song.. Based on the lyrics, thinking they've been friends or known each other for many years. But started dating. And the relationship has been on and off for about 2-3 years because of this and that. "we've been tired" Obviously, he lied and lied again about something during the 3D phase of the relationship 1-2 years. So after seeing her child heartbroken to many times, mamma began telling her not to take anymore of his calls. Because she deserved to be treated better, even by him. So she took her mamma's advice not to respond to his texts or calls and he started passing message too her though friends. After receiving a negative response, he gave up on the relationship. But, at some point they ran into each other at the club and all the feeling starting coming up again.. For when they hugged each other "warm embrace", the feelings were so intense between them, he felt high just being next to her. Then he thought, he was only feeling this way due to the scent of her perfume "somethings in the air tonight" and her wearing the silk dress.. "the devil's always tempting". Thus, the atmospheric sultry erotic sexy vibe of the song. While blending with their friends, he realizes it's more than her looking sexy in the silk dress. So asks her if they can go somewhere and talk in private. "not meant to blending with friends" Once they are alone, he starts begging her to take him back. How he's been missing her. Making a lot of promises. Sorry for lying. Explaining how he's not perfect. She's not perfect. But that should not keep them from being together, because their love is worth fighting for. That experiencing as well as enduring the good and bad times of the relationship will bring them closer, closer, and closer on every level. So, I'm thinking they definitely have history as well as common friends. So since they are feeling this rush of emotions, he wants her to tell him whether they will be leaving the club together... Yes or No Like the saying goes.. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." Lol.. This is fun 😂
