I love this song. I think it's my favourite on the album because it makes it feel okay to be sad, it's okay to grieve and feel your feelings but also hopeful because you won't feel that way forever

I love all Jungkook tracks in Golden the message and emotion ... dont forget his vocals in different tempo so smooth..

I admire the way that, even with songs written by other people, he wrapped a whole story! My boys (and of course who is on their backs) are excellent in doing conceptual albums. They all are excellent storytellers. I read some comments complaining about the style or the simplicity or even the "shallow" lyrics... JK is not trying to come with new things, he's just trying to explore his own skills on something that he loves: pop music. Lets him to experience! He's so young... he has a life to give us masterpieces, written and produced by himself. Give time to time!

This song makes me think that during the shut down of 2019-2021, it was a hard time for the group. So during that time he felt lost like we all did, since we didn't know if and when we would go back to normal. So during that time relationships within the group were tested because everyone one in the group were going through their own emotional struggles. Based on the lyrics, he acted out some kind of way and/or said something that was considered hurtful. But when he went to apologize, the person or persons wasn't trying to hear it.. Maybe feeling what he said or did was selfish and hurtful. Now feeling abandoned and alone, he call his father "family" to talk out what what happening and to get the support he needed. He took his father's wisdom to heart, began to settle down and live life with hope. Thus, he learned from his mistakes, like we all have to do in life. His father's words gave him the comfort he needed. Also during that conversation, he learned from his father that he can also perform GOLDEN dances alone. That this was not by accident. For, he was born with all these gifts. Born with talent. And even if it not music, he was born to be golden. That no matter what happened, he was proud of him. But, thankfully, things went back to normal and their careers were able to continue.. The "blood sweat and tears" were not in vain. Shout to the father's and mother's who are there for the children at any age.

I think people don't really like this song because it sounds simple but I really love it and I love the lyrics. It is sad, but somehow its kind of funny and cute 😅 and I'm kind of can relate to the song because I like to share my problems with my mom and she always give such a good and simple advice and she makes my problem isn't as complicated as I make it seem and it gives me comfort

My theory is that the entire album is the ebb of a relationship. The first 3 songs are about that first lust including the explicit version of seven. Standing next to you is that moment where you're like, yeah we'll be together forever. Then comes the break up, the anger, the sadness, the wake up call (too sad to dance, and really, who listens to their patents??). And then it's the clean version of seven and the MV where Jungkook is chasing after this girl and begging her to take him back bc he's so in love. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought of this but it makes me happy.

I still feel that every song in JK's album involves his one and only true love, at different times in their relationship, and we all know who that is.

I've been watching all of your videos as you react to each and every song in the "Golden" album, and I've been enjoying this journey with you. I like the way you seem to be able to cut straight through to the message and emotion in every song. I have to admit I like the 1st half of this album more than the 2nd half at first listen. The start of a new love is always refreshing and exciting and you're in that honeymoon pink-tinted glasses stage of things. Everything before the "Yes Or No" is pretty exhilerating. Even asking "Yes Or No" can be pretty sweet. So yes, my fave song in this album is probably still gonna be "Yes Or No", 'cos that's such a rush! Actually, this album has made me take a long walk down memory lane to try to dissect what my own love-related experiences were like. And I guess I like the 1st half of the album better, 'cos those are the songs I relate to more, and have better memories of. I mean, who wants to remember pain and heartbreak? So while I appreciate the emotions and experiences expressed in the 2nd half, and the quality storytelling nature of those songs, they don't really appeal to me that much, as in I find it hard to vibe with them. I have never had to hate someone as a means to get over my feelings for them. I find that pointless, 'cos it's like you're lying to yourself and not facing up to your real emotions, and the sooner you can deal with the reality of things, the better. If I get rejected by someone but I still have feelings for them. I accept and respect their decision, and know that eventually my feelings will change too. I don't hate them just so that I can forget them. They're not the problem. My feelings have become the problem here, so I'm gonna have to deal with that. I've also never used anyone else as a means to distract myself away from someone I'm trying to forget. I feel it's not right to use anyone like that. You could be leading them on, so I've never done that. However, I've been on the receiving end of both situations before. Someone has hated me to forget me, and someone has used me as a distraction before. So in my experience, I feel like "Hate You" and "Somebody" tend to be songs that I'd imagine more guys than girls would relate to. 'Cos in my experience, I've only been at the receiving end of that, and it's not pleasant being hated and being used. So naturally, I don't relate to "Hate You" and "Somebody". As for "Too Sad To Dance", if I ever felt really sad, I wouldn't be listening to songs as bright and upbeat as this. My black moods tend to go into Chester Bennington and Evanescence territory. "In The End", "One Step Closer", "Numb", "Going Under", "Bring Me To Life" and "My Immortal". I tend to get dark when I'm sad, I let myself go to that dark place and stay there until I feel like it's enough, then I'll walk out of it when I'm ready. I don't actually do anything to harm myself, I don't go that far, but I find it cathartic to be able to acknowledge and give in to my sadness, it helps me to let go of it by facing it head on. If I'm sad, I'm sad. It's as simple as that. I'm not going to try to listen to happy songs to get me out of my sadness. That feels like a lie to me. I'd rather face it head on. The one day, I'll wake up and it'll be out of my system for good. I trust that my spring days always come around.

I love this whole album and the fact that JK hand picked each song and put it in this sequence as he explained to Suga on Suchwita, that it goes from a high to a low and the story behind each song is brilliant work👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ You have to love JUNGKOOK for his mastermind and brilliance as an artist.

Listen to Pops, we oldsters have been through it. I think the upbeat nature is another way of making fun of yourself and a hint to not take yourself too seriously even when things are tough. Hopefully this too shall pass and maybe I can learn something about myself.
