In regards to the dilemma, maybe the mum needed the money to finish off payment for the mansion. So technically his boy didn’t lie the mum would have lost the house if it weren’t for the £5k loan

Late but here are my to ps. The title of the dilemma is mad. Stole unoe! I think it's ridiculous to expect your friend to not live life just because they are in debt to you 😂. My thinking is that the mum was probably going to get evicted from the mansion lol. And the mum and her son probably collected money from multiple people to pay off. Rolex could be old or borrowed. But like DT said, out of curiosity I would ask yo, how did you go from eviction to mansion grand opening. There are 101 possibilities. But 6 months haven't come, he just needs to wait it out and stop making negative assumptions.
