Watch me create a bat from leftover ikea butcher block. This bat was for a friend on the block he wanted his name on the bat. The first and olny attempt to burn the name into the bat was nearly perfect. I did use a wood burning pen to fix up the edge of the
logo where it was burned lightly. Enjoy and please share

I just finished another 17 hour day at the stupid computer, and this video made me happy. I told my brother the other week that I wished I had 1/10 as many toys and 1/10 as much talent as you have. Thanks for taking me away from the drudgery.

11/27/23 this is on my bucket list to try. Spotted some Montana gold in the last scene I like the way you made the branding iron to. I gotta remember that trick.

You'll never get bored watching a Jimmy Diresta video. Not only is he a great craftsman, he knows how to make a video, too. He can show more in 5 minutes than most folks can in an hour. I wish I lived close to him. I'd worry him to death. Great job, Jimmy!!!

Jimmy, you really fascinate us. Your craftsmanship really pays off and showing us your new gadgets in the shop!! Now, if the bat been autographed by the baseball team, it would be some value to that bat!

My dad got a lathe for Christmas and I always hound him to make one of those mallets like you made.Now he's gonna have to make a bat too.

I remember the first thing my grandad made for me on the lathe was a baseball bat when I was in primary school. I still have it now 15 years later. Thanks from Australia
