This is a model of the Distillery Process commissioned by Bulleit Bourbon. I wanted it to look like an vintage science model. A visual aid to follow the distilling process from beginning to end.
David Waelder was instrumental in working out some of the more complex copper parts. follow him here:

May sound odd but all of Direstas videos are incredible and I watch them to help me sleep. They're far from boring, quite the opposite. They're bizarrely relaxing.

As a Kentuckian, I'm very proud to count Jimmy as one of ours. You can't do this much for us and not belong to us. I grew up next to a Knob Creek (literally), a stones throw from Bulleit county... My highschool played (and lost) to them every year, I'm related to the Beam family... Yes them... I grew up smelling the rick houses. Our family picnic's amounted to KFC at a park around the corner from the Stephen Foster story because it was close.

Nice to see someone doing all the disciplines himself, a real fabricator, not just a woodworker vs a metalsmith.

Not that Jimmy is going to see this, but anyway... I subscribed to his channel not only for his excellent craftsman skills, but for the fact that he is NOT TALKING endlessly like so many other "craftsmen" even when making a simple box - he just goes on with his work, without insulting his viewers' intelligence with endless, pathetic "explanations"! Kudos!

awesome work, Very Impressive! I thought id throw out a couple tips on attractive solder joints for anyone that wants to know. 1-anywhere you put flux is where the solder will stick, it will not stick to unfluxed copper. be aware of dripping flux when you heat it tho, not too much just a very light coating. flux brush skills=good looking joints. 2-if you wipe the fitting/pipe with flux after you solder it, while its still hot, and then wipe it with a rag, it will remove the heat discoloration and impurities leaving the solder joint as good looking as you could ever get it. just be sure to wipe all of the flux off or it will turn green a couple weeks later. just a plumber's 2 cents.
