@jadeArieldavies the landline means he's telling them to call him with a phone because he dosnt want to scream at them for the next hour over the radio forcing people to hear it. They won't get fired or anything. When he says we are getting a article. He means he's getting more or less a disciplinary action against him. As long as they don't have a habbit of this not to much trouble will fall on them short or long term. But some kind of really not fun punishment is comeing there way. It was a mess, I was so glad they took me off duty because I was a armorer 😂 Our CSM liked to do stupid stuff like go around and check everyone duty post to see what folks were doing and snap pictures, then call a formation to show everyone. 12 years reg force army. Landline makes the butthole pucker even tho I’ve been retired from the army 2 years now. It’s probably a skit but still very accurate to how that exact moment would be. You nevvvvver want to fall asleep on watch. If this was on tour you’d be getting the shit kicked out of you or charged.
@billyjoe81852 ай бұрын
Did it ever happen to you or anyone else you know? I could never be in the military bro, my ass be falling asleep in class 💀
@harrison_daniel_studio2 ай бұрын
@@billyjoe8185 never happened to me personally but everyone’s been chewed out in the military for something you did or didn’t do, doesn’t matter. Falling asleep on watch is the biggest no no ever. I remember doing maneuvers in the Artic and we had someone fall asleep on stove watch (when you sleep, 1 guy is stove watch to a tent group, 2 are in the trench line on guard and the other 7 are sleeping, every hour the stove guy would wake the next rotation up 15mins prior so they could get ready and relieve the trench line and the next stove watch would take over, stove watch was just in the name, you’d have a stove going inside the tent and you’d watch it to make sure it didn’t go out and that the smoke was exhausting out properly. So you watched it so everyone didn’t either inhale fumes and died or it goes out and it’s -55•C so you’d be forcing the other 7 to wake up when they didn’t have too). They got every single extra duty thrown at them and also forced the vehicles extracting us to stop just 13km shy of the base so we could ruck the rest of the distance because of him, a 13km ruck with full gear and this was winter gear so snowshoes and all but it’s about 2hrs depending how fast the pacer (typically the section command) wanted to go. So in Canada it’s very difficult for a higher up to single a soldier out nowadays and punish them for something like that on an individual level. So they’d want us lower ranks to do the justice system by ourselves by punishing the entire section so we would want to punish him later on in turn for making the other 99% suffer because of his actions. Worked like a charm however harsh it seems to civilians.
@tahrondavis808010 күн бұрын
@billyjoe8185 when you pull CQ it depends if it's a weekday or weekend but no matter what some duties is 24 hours. No sleep. They pulling shift for MPs, thats a 8 to 12 hour shift. Gotta go to bed.
